oh yes the question post at 10:00 a.m.
Hi everyone. Has any one heard from their SR?  I am looking forward to a letter tomorrow or Friday. I was hoping that we would have received calls by now, but nothing yet. Although he wrote that he will call his Dad first since he only got to talk to mom and his brother last month.  A letter is good, but a call would be even better. This time a longer call, since I only got 6 mins last time after he had spoken to his brother for 10 mins. Hope everyone is doing well and making plans for PIR in 23 days.  Go 244!
Got  a letter today my SR sounds a lot better says he is over his sickness and doing better. He also wrote about the division said they did well in the Marlinspike.only had 5 Safety violations and the brother division got 34. Said they are a good division and they do well together.  Go Div 244 !! iIf they work well it only helps them all to finish strong .Did say he was more than likely a Grad-n-Go. his A school is not there. It is in Midland. Of course I cried when i read this but  you never know things could happen. andy body else hear from their SR?

Got a letter today sound good he can't wait to see us But ladys please pray they need it like never before.that's how I took the letter So I'm pleading the BLOOD OF JESUS OVER SHIP 11 DIV 244 that each and everyone is bless and work together in JESUS MIGHTY NAME.

Love your pleading. I needed to hear that. I will do my best to join you. If I am correct tomorrow is Drills real important for them to pass like 60 % of the Divisional score. love having someone to pray with.:)
That is such good news.  My son's letters are always rushed and he says he never has time to write about details.  I get just enough to either be happy or worried.

Good news! Got a letter today. Since he wrote it on Sunday, they should be almost done with Hell week with the fitness assessments and inspections. My SR mentioned that Battlestations is scheduled for July 27th. So we all need to keep them all in our prayers.  We wont know how they did during Hell week until next week's letter or if they are able to call home. Dont forget to ask your SR to preorder the DVD of the PIR ceremony and pictures. I think there is also a keel book which I think is a graduation keepsake. It is received much sooner than if you wait to place your order the day of the ceremony. If you check the PIR link they should be more information of how to order.

Alexh -thanks for posting So your SR gave you that date of the 27th for BS21. My SR mentioned it was Monday three weeks from this past Monday I know he could be all messed up with days as they don't use the same dates we do. I want to know the date as  I want to stay home the next day so our whole family can hear the words  "I'm a sailor" from him. Let me know how sure he sounded on the date. I will ask my SR again

So ladies I would like it if  we could as a group wait here for the calls from our  SR's (Sailors then ) I read a group go through the process together. it helps that way we know when the calls start coming and share in each others excitement and all the other emotions that accompany it.

Please remember to post any info you receive from you SR. Anybody like me wishing for a phone call. A good call !!!

Here is the link that I mentioned before about ordering the PIR DVD and other items.

So my daughter got a letter from our SR today and he told her that they were doing BS  on 6-5 which is two weeks form today. Then he said he would have a week after that till Graduation. Anybody else get and information ?
bsteele - your son knows then where he will be stationed? I didn't think they knew that until after BC? Is that the same for everyone? Hmmm....
