So how is everything today!  Still stalking the mailman???  LOl I am!!  I sent out several letters and cards so I hope he gets them soon!    How is babygirl??
My son is in this division also.  We were SOO happy to receive his form letter yesterday.  Mailed letters to him today.  Just being able to do that is helpful.
Hang in there.  My son is in this division and haven't heard from him other than the form letter.  But it made me feel good to see his little neat hand-writing.  He even wrote 3 little lines at the end and one was a joke about bringing his RD a macchiato. it made me so relieved that he made a joke. I just try to imagine what he's doing all throughout the day and night.  I've sent a letter every day since I got his address and have tried to make everyone in the family write write write!

I wonder if our sons/husbands know each other?

When my son wrote his three little lines he said time was flying by so that made me feel great!  I hope that they are coming together as a division.  Then they can earn phone calls!!

@bobbymom They get to write on Sundays and if they have any down time during the week but I what I've read through blogs/discussions not so much.

@magnoliagirl- Im sure they do if they are in same ship and division do not how much chat time they get maybe during mealtime ???

@rrjhmd Right now I'm not stalking mailman still prob next weeks in hope of the DEERS paperwork.. I heard that usually comes week 3 and thereafter I will b stalking the mailman!!!! I have a front porch with a rocking chair that me and my baby wait at because its so hot where we live!

Also, ladies... if you have a facebook like pages us navy life but especially us navy recruit training command

they have trivia tuesday and if our division wins they post pics of our kids/spouse :) the question is posted at 10am central :) answer not on wall but where the question is asked... just knowing that they take pics of them at bc is helpful and gives us an idea what they are doing.....

where is everyone from and what jobs did everybody get.. my hubby got a MA (master of arms) pretty much equivalent to civilian cop.....

I am starting to look for tickets and lodging for PIR.... I cant wait... Make sure to purchase exchangeable/refundable tixs :)

My son is MA also.  He is going to San Antonio for A School.  We are from the Kansas City area.  We made our flight reservations and are going to stay at the Residence Inn in Waukegan.  It was cheaper for us to fly in to Milwakee than Chicago.  It is about the same distance.
My son is a corpsman and the A school is in San Antonio.

Ya I have been briefly looking when I can... Thats cool that alot of our SR's are going to SA... :) Im on facebook... facebook.com/peruvianmami you can also request me.. i chk that more often since I have it linked up to my cell...

Im really hoping that out SR's get the whole weekend with liberty since its a holiday weekend that would be awesome :)

I would fly into mke but i think it would just to be too much of a drive for my baby... so I might have to fly to a closer airport and lodge close too.

I checked and the airport in Milwaukee is 12 miles further than O'Hare.  Any hotel in Waukegan should be really close to PIR.  We received a letter today!!!  It is so awesome to hear from him.  He said that things were going OK.  He said that the division as a whole is having some problems so pray for them that they can work as a team!!

a form letter or a regular letter???? ya my hubby mention problems too and maybe not getting letter sent out...:( im praying that they can get it together and do GREAT so that there experience isnt so tough.. I hope it not just one person thats ruining it for all... im going to stay positive :)

im going to chk flights now that baby is asleep...Are u booked for flight and hotel? what days are u traveling???

OMG...I hope it's not my son
