I just read that your son called the GF and not you.  I am soooo sorry about that.  That must hurt so much, but remember, they are kids and don't always think.  He may have thought he could call u too.  We never know. Plus, maybe she put something in a letter that made him feel he had to call her.  The one thing your son knows is that a mother's love is unconditional!! And you know he loves you. I think their minds are screwed up right now.  Hang in there.
Sam's mom - thank you, I feel better today.  I wrote him a letter (4th one) asking the details I was saving for the 1st phone call, and figured I may get a phone call or a return letter with the information I need in order to make myself feel comfortable enough to book my flights.  Thanks for the support ladies, it really helps.
Does anyone have a son named MARZULO on ship 10 div.267??  My son said that he is his best friend!!
can anyone tell me where can i find the pricing of photos pkgs, dvd's, etc  i have looked all over this website... please help
http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pirreferenceinformation/forum/topi... This is a discussion in the group PIR Reference Information about the photos, Keel and dvd. There are a ton of topics there about PIR.
Ii I think only your recruit can order them. Ask him to in a letter to keep his eyes opet for them and to order them for you. I know there is a DVD also. I think you may want that too. Good luck
I heard they are ordering pictures this week.

I have my blue candles ready and just waiting for the word... "Battlestations" to light them!!!!

We are getting closer every day!!!!

:-) Me too....... I got one for every room in the house.

I had a bad case of "missing her blues" today.  Trying to stay strong, not too much longer to wait!

Hi, what exactly are the blue candles, and are they any blue candles?
I read that during "battlestations" the family is supposed to light them in support of their child. I also read that one of the moms would light a blue candle any time that she knew her child was having a test.

Saturday was a bad day for me as well.
