@ sister sue - yep already posted mine on FB...

Hi Everyone. Keep our SRs in your thoughts and prayers. This week is going to be the most challenging for them. Also stay close to your phones to get the 'I am a Sailor' call.  I know that we may have gotten different info on when BS may occur, but as long as our sons are well prepared, they should do great. Go Ship 11, Div 244. You've got this!

We also should be able to print gate passes for GL on the RTC site this week. I may wait to get the call before I print it.

question about a gate pass. Since my husband just joined this division last week and his PIR date got moved a week back, what should I do? I don't have my password to get the gate pass. When he called me on Friday to tell me the division and address, he didnt know it either. I thought about giving it till the tuesday before PIR. I have a friend whos husband works for the a school side and he said he was gonna try to get one for me, but wasnt sure if he can. I dont know if i am able to walk on base since my grandpa, who has two broken hips and is too stubborn and doesnt want a wheel chair can't walk that far. Unsure of what to do. Thought about asking RTC. Suggestions. Thank you!

Maybe you can call his reruiter and get the info you should I hope that helps

shygirl:  You will need to call the Public Affairs Office.  They will most likely ask you for his "old" password from his first group. They will then verify that he is graduating in this group and should then give you the password for this current group.

Be sure to tell them that he had been asmoed and is in his 2nd division group. This happened to me when my son was there and that is what I had to do.

It is getting so close. Our SR's will finish first on Friday the 29th.YES!!!!!!!!! I am so excited can't wait to hear his voice. So I would suggest if you have any questions on BS to look at the Discussion that was started on the 08/05/2011PIR group. The veterans started it and are ready to help. Also would be good to be on there on Friday the 29th in case there are other SR loved ones for Ship 11 Div 244 who might need some hand holding I know I will need some, and besides :) we can praise our SR and the division as well. GO SHIP 11 DIV 244. Dont forget to get the permit passes tomorrow. even if you plan to use the shuttle it is a good idea to have it just in case. Just a suggestion.

I receive a letter from my SR today he said that on the 22nd the Div. gose to the GAS CHAMBER and BS is on the 28th. Monday-Thursday will be busy for the Div that is leading up to BS. So he told me to stay by the phone on Friday. So ladies keep the DIV. up in prayer. GO SHIP 11 DIV 244

Damaris- Thank you for the update would you mind posting in the battlestations Duscussions in the PIR Group. they need conformation from the SR's for the date each unit is going to BS GO Ship 11 Div 244 So excited
I received a letter from my Sr that was written on the 21st Thursday.  He said that they did the gas chamber on Friday the 22nd, Monday the 25th was firefighting, Tuesday was PT Test, Wednesday was test 3, Thursday will be drill inspection and that Thursday night will be Battlestation and then our long awaited call on Friday.  I can hardly wait to hear  his voice.  It has been a hard wait.  I missed the 3 week call.  I am so proud of all of them.  Praying extra for this week.  Today is trivia question day.  I can't believe this is almost over.  Have a blessed week.
My son called today. It was for a specific reason only had a couple of minutes needed infomation on his Grandfathers name for PIR guest list. So good to hear his voice. Did say he passed is PFA's and today is the run  if he passes on to BS. They are really close !!!!
