I received my form letter yesterday.  It was wonderful just to see his handwriting.  He has only been away for eight days, but it seems much longer.  Looking forward to graduation.

thanks!  glad your son healed.  7/29 will be a super wonderful day for you!  I couldn't imagine having to wait so long.  Where is he headed to next?  My son goes to Goose Creek
He's off to beautiful Monterey Bay, California! And he leaves on his birthday! He said his goal was to heal & get out before his bday. Well, he graduates the day before his bday so he made his goal!

Packing and ready to head to GL. Our guys/gals have BS on Tuesday PM.  We will be on our way when we get "the call".  He called Friday night, all excited.  It was great talking to him and hearing the excitement in his voice.  Cannot wait to hug him. Says he loves the Dress Whites, that he makes them look good.

What? A call?  OMG?  I did not get a call? Why not? Now I'm paranoid again. What in the world? Surely if he called, the whole division would have called, right? Did you get a call this past Monday? Now I'm devestated again. I am so paranoid, you just don't know!!  I've already been through hell and back waiting for his fractured foot to heal. I'm so worried something else will go wrong. I've been under the assumption that no news is good news, but now I don't know what to say. Oh no. Did anyone else on here get a call on Friday?
welcome to my world KC, I haven't gotten a call since June 21!
I did not get a call either.  dont worry.  I think no news IS good news
Boos-mom..... really? Oh my. I just figured the whole division would get to call together. That's how it worked in my son's last group he was in. We even had a text system going on so that no one would miss a call. We texted eachother when we got a call or a letter. I know that if someone has "stand watch" at the same time as phone calls are made then they miss out. My son always seems to have it in the middle of the night, though.
He had three calls that he had not used. Yes he called monday and then again on Friday. He said they were all doing great now. Really working as a team. They did not do the gas chamber thing because of the heat. BS on Tuesday night then another call Wednesday. I will let you know if he calls again. It would be nice if everyone would check in after BS call.
Dani- I suppose we were just the unlucky ones. Okay, I feel a bit better now!!  When I spoke to him Monday, he said the RDC was going to give him the password since his has changed and he would call me back at night. Never heard from him since. Can't figure out why they didn't let him make that call to me after they said they would. Oh well.

ALL CAPS WORKS!!!

I was actually looking forward to him doing the gas chamber (as was he) b/c he's always had s stuffy nose. We read that it really clears the sinuses. Oh well. Maybe I can just shoot him with my pepper spray when I see him on...... 7/29!!!!
Our son is headed to San Antonio, Texas.  Only six hours away!!!
