Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Alright, I didn't think anyone would actually take a guess. But I went to the movies with the family and come back to like 10 guesses! :) I love you guys!
So we'll do whoever is closest without going over. That's how they do it on Price is Right, right? :)
I can keep track of the numbers here each night at.. midnight eastern time. (Hopefully I can remember to do this when I'm in Charleston. Someone will have to remind me).
And I vote no recruiting members just for this purpose. :P
If anyone has suggestions to what the winner "gets", suggest away. :)

Well, Mary that was my guess, too. However, I feel that may be too close but.....if you and I conspire to raid other groups...especially PIR groups we should be able to find new members. Then, we can split the cake balls.

You have done a grand job so far of recruiting. Emily actually had a chance to recruit over in Girlfriends, etc. and didn't. Kind of a toss up, and bet the votes go according to how close people are to the date. Being an Aug 3 guess, I vote for recruiting. Ultimately, nice to let others know about this site, it has been a real help for me. .... addicted to Nuke Moms and check it out even before FB now!!!!

haha. You're right, I haven't been recruiting. I thought it'd be fun just to sit back and watch the numbers go up naturally. But I'm not going to bite anyone's head off that has recruited or will continue to recruit. :)
I pressed the "follow new members" button so it sends me an email everytime we get a new member. It seems like a pretty steady 2-3 a day! -

Haha darn I think I'm out...this group is just too popular! Looked to see if I could change my date but don't think it will be the 27th or 28th...probably by Sunday or Monday! We'll see :) Love the pillowcase idea for the winner!!
