I received my form letter yesterday.  It was wonderful just to see his handwriting.  He has only been away for eight days, but it seems much longer.  Looking forward to graduation.

Has anyone received a call?
Call are starting now. I just got a call telling me my SR is now a Sailor
Not me!!  I keep crying with excitement!!  I am losing my mind.

yes, I did... Taylor did not pass his run.  got the call last night.  he will not do battle stations until after he passes and was moved into FIT.  He will not be able to be at PIR and we will not get to see him :(  I tell you this b/c I think for you, no news is good news!

we have our flights, so we are coming anyway for the remote possibility that he passes today and does battle stations tonight.  if that is the case, he will be granted liberty friday.

my prayers are will you!  Good luck!!!

I am so sorry. We will pray for him. Tyler said he has met some great guys in this division. Is your son by any chance going to SA?
Oh, Dani- I am so sorry for your news! I know your SR will eventually pass the PFA and I hope that it is today. So scary to think that everything is so "unknown' for so long.
I really think we are ok!!!
You are not alone.  I received the call yesterday as well that my son, Joe, did not pass the PFA.  We have cancelled our flights and reservations.  He didn't say anything about possibly passing this week.
I want you to know that I will continue to pray for Joe, and want to hear from you when he passes!  I don't know how much work he needs, but I have come to find out the FIT program is motivational, and not for punishment what-so-ever.  There is another group on this site "FIT program"...look at it.  it has useful information.  I KNOW this news is bittersweet, but Joe will be that much more proud of himself when he earns something he had to work hard for!  I wish you both God's blessing through this time...
Nancy I am so sorry. We will keep him in our thoughts.
I know what you all are going through, as my son was held back 6 weeks due to his fracture. It will make you all the more proud when they finally PIR. Trust me.
I have felt for your son since first hearing about his fracture.  I just learned about another girl today that broke her pelvis during her last run, failed her run, and is now in sick bay for 3 months!  I certainly count my blessings!!!
