Looking for anyone else that has someone in Ship02Div942 - received form letter and the 3 sentences from my son!!

Thank you very much for your congratulations! It was a huge relief, and now I only have about...3 more boards to go-lol!! I got my letters today...SIX of them to be exact :) He completely made my week!! He said that the food is actually pretty awesome and he has a new found love for Caesar Salad-lol!! He said they had their swim test and he passed. He said he has no idea why he was picked for the 900 div, and he didn't really say what he's been doing in it. He said that they got in trouble once and had to do IT, that was written on the 22nd, but he didn't say how bad it was or what they got in trouble for. He was talking about them having their first inspection on the 25th and that he was kind of nervous for it and their first test today. All in all, it sounds like things are starting to get better for him. He said he got one of my letters, which I wrote on the 16th, the day I got his form letter. But he didn't say anything about getting the other letter I sent him which I mailed on the 20th or 21st, but he probably got that one Monday or Tuesday, after he had already mailed out these letters. All I know is that now that that one board is out of the way, I'm going to start writing him a TON more. I've felt so bad because I've been focusing most of my attention to studying as opposed to writing letters..but that will soon change! :)
I agree with you Ering NC - just hearing how they are all doing is great. I wonder what happened that they got into trouble? Hmm. I wonder if my SR will share that with me?
towermom-I saw the post about the t-shirts, too. It was in one of the comments on the 9/1 PIR page. Here is the link for you. I plan on ordering one as well :) http://www.mwrgl.com/gen_info/rtc_graduation/div_tshirt_order_6_201...
Received letters (2) from my SR. He says he loves this Division! It is making him a stronger man!! He says he is doing really great and that he should receive his first pay tomorrow!! Will see :)
Ash - my SR really didn't say much about the IT to me in my letter, but to his best friend he talked about it and he showed it to me. Wow, but he did mention passing the PT and swimming test - he said he could improve in the PT though. LOL
I received 2 letters yesterday and they both had a returned of Ship 02 USS Rueben James Division 942.
