Hi Vipergirl,

My son wrote that IT  is Intensive Training.    Hopefully, these boys will get it together and start working as team soon.  I know there are all types of personalities.  It is all part of the learning process.  Luckily, my son said he did get my first 2 letters..  So hopefully your SR will get his soon.

I hope they actually do get to call by Saturday. I've been reading some of the posts on the 9/1 PIR and they said they were going in order of DIV and it looks like that's what happening :)

Vipergirl, I know it had to hurt to hear he had not received your letters yet, but I'm sure he's received your letters by now and is loving the words from home. When he has seen how much you've written all will be well!

My SR said they got IT (intensive training) because someone stole some cookies :( reminiscent of the peaches, if you've ever seen the miniseries Band of Brothers...He also said that they lost 6 from their DIV the first week and it was really a wake-up call for them to see recruits being cut from BC.

Hey mtngrl2014,

My SR said the same thing about someone hiding some food.  My SR was not happy at all because that meant they lost 'church' priviledges and my SR was sooooo looking forward to that.  That's when my SR decided to "letter vent" to his gf.  She got 8 letters, I got one.  LOL  He also said they were having trouble working together and some don't know when to be quiet.  He seemed to be accepting things pretty well though.  I just hope things straighten out and they all start working together as a team.  Hopefully we will all hear their voices soon and none of us miss those calls.

Hello Ladies

I made my reservations for PIR at Days Inn, very close to the Base. Hopefully it is ok there. Well any calls yet??? You all have a great weekend and may all our boy's do ok the coming weeks .

Not yet. It sounds like Saturday is the day.

My son just called.Yeah!!!!!!!!!!! He sounded great. He said the food is horrible and they can only write on Sunday's. He said that when ever anyone does something wrong and they do not own up to it they point to a person and they get IT which he has got quite a few times. He said he got in trouble once for trying to write a letter and theyr'e still making fun of him for that He also said they're drpping like flyes. There were 88 when they started and they're down to 77. He is still happy to be there and is doing very well. I hope everyone esle heres from their SR's soon.

Hi Lynn,

I couldn't hear my son very well, but he told me how they lost a lot already too! Maybe some of the DIV trouble was the reason their phone calls were kept so short. It was awesome to hear from them, though, so no complaints. So happy to hear your SR is doing great too!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ladies!

I just got a very short, but sweet, 7 min phone call from my SR about 15 minutes ago. I thought it would be longer and I was driving, so it went so fast and I wished I had asked better questions! I do know this is an all male division though and they are down to about 75 SRs. He didn't have to get his wisdom teeth out...yay! And all of his physical tests have gone great! So happy to hear his voice!! Hope you ladies are getting phone calls now too :)

Hello Ladies,

Yay waiting for my call , so happy for all of you when you got yours . Have a great weekend Lady's =)

I sure hope to get a call...my son his in this division!  Hi Heike :)
