For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Ship 07/Div 289!
I noticed that there are a couple discussions on specific Ship #'s/Div #'s but I did not see ours. If you have a SR in this Division you have found the right place!
Let's share a little about our SR's...
My boyfriend was in DEP for about 5 or so months or so before leaving for boot camp. He signed for 10 years as a Nuke and will be going to A-school later this year, hopefully in South Carolina!

you know what i just thought about..i wonder if any of our SR's are friends :) well, actually i'm sure the whole division is pretty close, huh?

That's what I've been wondering too... I sent out a letter to my SR telling him about this site and how I've been making friends through his friends and what not lol. I wonder if they have a male or female RDC and if their division is coed? It would be a lot easier to search for them on the Facebook page if we knew this haha

I'm sorry you didnt get one maybe tomorrow, if it helps you any everything in mine was positive, said he likes it and its so easy and he passed his first PFA . 80 peolple in the div and 29 of then failed if only 10 of them failed they would have gotten an hour long phone call, that sucks but right now a letter is good enough for me.He said the food is good and PT is fun, anyway really it was all good. I really hope you get a letter real soon.

Britney Marie you should be next! I'm in SC and i got mine today as well!! No negative comments, he said the food is pretty good and he is exercising more than he's ever exercised before in his life!! He also said that most the SRs are younger than him..he's 26..but he's making some friends! :)
