Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Frustration!
I am soo frustrated because I haven't gotten any letters from my boyfriend in going on 3 weeks! He's at Great Lakes and graduates in 13 days, so I'll see him soon but it is still so frustrating. I've gotten more letters than his mom, which frustrates her, but neither of us have gotten one from him since the day of the 3 week phone call even though she sent him stamped envelopes and paper in case he needed anything. Is anyone else having this problem? I stay very busy so I'm fine, but 3 weeks is a lot compared to how often he was sending them before. Ugh!

They are really busy, My husband wrote everyday but it was only like 3 sentences a day, so he would wait for the pages to fill up, so there was a period where i didn't get mail for a while. If i remember it was towards the end of bootcamp too. I only got comfort in knowing that he was safe, you should be getting excited! your PIR is so son enjoy it!

From what my SR has told me through letters, is that the closer they get to graduation, the crazier their schedules become. I know it is so nerve-wracking not to hear from your boyfriend, but please believe me when I say "no news is good news". You are so close to seeing your man again! :-)

Hey I also noticed that your not a member of your PIR group, I tried to find it but it seems like it doesn't exist. You may need to make one, I think its very odd that theres no group by now with 3 weeks left. Hopefully ones already created it will have so much info for you and you can connect with other people with the same PIR date
