Come on moms of 267- Trivia Tues starts in 20 minutes. If one of us wins they take a photo of the group.

Facebook- U.S Navy Recruit Training Command.

I can't thank RTC enough for doing this and taking pics for us to enjoy!

I am there and ready to go :))) GO 10/267!!!!
I couldn't get signed on in time and answer- computer didn't want to work. :(
The correct answer was givin in "5 seconds" after the question!!! That is amazing!!!! LOL=) I dont see how the heck they do that!!!
I read on a post that the read all of it prior. Oh well, we have 2 more trys until PIR.
I like the sound of that!!! ONLY two more trys then we can see them in person=))) Maybe since they are the same ship, we might get lucky and get a random PIC posted=))))
That would be great! :-)
OMG. You guys have to take a look at today's random pictures. I think #3 is 267. I remember my SR telling me that their div flag had popeye on it (I'm sure a bunch do), but I also think I see her at the rear on the outside with a white belt. They were supposed to be taking an academic test today and they have books!
got letters today (yep, letters plural). Gas chamber is moved to later this week, she didn't say exactly when. They currently have 5 flags, geez I didn't think they had even earned any yet from her earlier letters. She is hoping that if they pass their drill assessment and their academic test today that they would then have seven flags. Guidon, ship flag, division flag, sponsor flag, PT flag, scholastic flag and drill flag! Let's go 267!!!

She also mentions that they might get a phone call on Wednesday. Sounds a little iffy, but wanted to give you guys the heads up.

Special thanks to SR McCutcheon and SR Roberts on the birthday wishes (my birthday was Sunday). My SR included their birthday drawings with her letter.
Aww!!!! Thank you so very very much for sharing Sandy!!! I sure hope they call =) I am starting to forget my SR's voice. LOOK AT ALL THEM FLAGS!!! Got some PROUD PARENT vibes going here=))) I can not wait to give her a big hug =) that's cool she sent you a birthday picture!!! Those girls!!! Im so glad my SR has made some life long friends!!! Im so glad you got LOTS of letters today!!! That means I get letters tomorrow =))) thank you so very much for sharing=)))
Happy late B-Day btownsandy!!  how sweet for her friends to wish you a happy day!  makes up for your SR being gone.  this year was the 2nd year in a row my one sailor missed my bday but it's also the 1st for my "twin" to be gone too, my SR and i share a birthday.  we had a party and took a picture to send to her wishing her happy b-day (did the same for other daughter when deployed)

my SR sent her gpa a letter, so proud!  she told him to make sure i saw it because she wrote about hell week.

said she passed a personal inspection and weapons turnover (?) and didnt get any hits!  (i think that means she did great)

she sounds so positive!  said she beat her run time in her PFA and they won a flag for it!!!!  she said the Chief told them he was proud of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow btownsandy, 5 flags????  she just told me of the one.  i'm so proud of her and the rest of the division, can't wait for PIR.

the only down note was feeling like no one cared if they did good just when they do bad but says she has the rest of her career to prozve herself.

and thanks for the heads up about a possible phone call!
Darn it! I was really hoping for a phone call today. She said maybe this week and she thought maybe Wednesday. There are still two days left I guess. I really, really was hoping that maybe was a little surer.
