Happy for you, but green with envy at the same time :)

But remember I am an hour away from GL. So I will probably always get mine first.

Dont be discouraged that means the division was given time to write on Sunday and yours is coming.

I am not sure that this letter sat well anyway. He is not so happy. Wants this to be over.

I'm up in IL visiting some family and am hoping that my letters are getting there faster because of location... haha! :)
Happy for you! So hoping that tomorrow will be our day. We are in Texas, so we are trying to be patient.
From the sounds of it, I think it is hard to adjust to all the different walks of life. He sent his best friend a letter also and didnt sound as bad. Making it sound worse for mom.  He did say the food is really good but they dont like it when you fall asleep in class. (lol) Guess this isnt high school anymore. Had to laugh.
Just got on here and would love to hear news from families in the group.  Seeing the posting about others getting letters I hope mine is in the mail box today.  I'm only about an hour from great lakes.
No letter today, but I'm all the way on West Coast so maybe tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed.
So bummed about no letter. I can't remember a time when I was this low. Miss him so much.
No letter for me, yet, either. It may be a little while for me to get one, though. He will have to get one of my letters first, as he forgot my new address. Ugh!

I received my first letter today, which made my day. Other than that, he said it sucks and can't wait for it to be over. From what my husband said, it sounds like there may be some issues with some SRs learning how to be quiet and do what they are told the first time. Let's hope they figure it out soon.

Cluebee   same comment from my son. Having trouble coming together. Lots of jumping jacks.

Got our letter today! He sounded strong which helped us with our worries. He said that he has already lost 8 pounds...kind of a picky eater. His girlfriend got hers as well. We were laughing about already being anxious for the next one:)
