We also received a call from our SR...sounded ok has recruit cough and cold as several of them do, but was in good spirits.  Is a little texas homesick but..seemed like himself.  Got to hang on for more phone calls and letters!

Same here. Got a phone call and sounded good except for a little pain from his wisdom teeth being pulled. Dont think we will be getting to many calls in this division since they dont seem to be pulling together.

My son said there is a couple kids that dont take direstion very well and they pay the price for them.

They didnt pass inspection so no mail for 2 days.   Sure hope the problems start to get better for them!!!!

Snapple     I havent heard of them getting sign on money for the navy in a looooong time. He will get a paycheck while in BC but that is not $5000.00 FOR SURE.   The Navy has to many people joining to offer anything.

So not sure where that came from unless you got a really shady recruiter.

Snapple, haven't heard anthing about getting $5000 in BC. But I do know they deduct their uniforms, boots, etc. from their paycheck.
Nothing posted here lately. Hope you are all getting letters and that phone call last week. This division has had their mail stopped for a couple days for talking. Hope they shut up soon!
I heard about the mail stopping, I hope they are able to receive by now. Looking forward to the next letter!
I got a few today stuffed in one envelope, but he had a lot of time. He was in sick bay for 2 days     wisdom teeth pulled.
snapple    I see you are in Bloomingdale Il.  We are in Woodstock but have lived in Glendale Hgts and Streamwood.
Hi, Yes we are close :)  I hope to have some letters today when I get home!   Can't wait for 9/16!!
Hope you get some too!

Hey everyone our division ( as my son put it) kicked a...s in MARLINSPIKES!!!!! He said they whipped the other division!

Well maybe they are turning around!! Lets hope      In case you dont know, that is the pre test for Battle stations. He said then they went to practice for graduation!

That's awesome!!!!!  I just got a letter from my son yesterday.  We didn't receive a phone call because he had his wisdom teeth pulled.   So glad to hear they are doing better!!!
