You have to go down on the left side below the picture and click download, then either download or save it to your computer.  You can zoom in on it once it downloads, but it really distorts the picture if you get too close.  I saved it to my comptuer and used a different picture program to zoom in with less distortion.  And EVERYONE I showed the picture to confirmed that I was not hallucinating or crazy, and that it WAS him.  :)....it is now the background on my computer!  haha!! :)
Got some more letters today!!!  He confirmed that they do have writing privileges on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the day, but just for a little while.  He said that Monday, 8/8, was the beginning of hell week.  He said that they were going to be having a lot of inspections, a PFT, and a book test.  He is upset that he won't be marching in graduation.  He said that only half of their division actually performs and that the other guys get other jobs.  He said that he is hoping to be a rail guard (he literally just stops people from leaning on the rail) so that he could maybe sneak a few words to us before graduation begins.  I told him that I didn't care what he was doing during graduation as long as I still get to see him afterwards!!!  3 weeks, ladies!!!! :):):)

I received 3 more letters from my SR today!!! YEA - he sounds so great.  He said their division finally pulled together during the Marlinspike which he said was fun!!  LOL  He said they are going thru "Hell" week now, so it will be interesting to see if he wrote on Tuesday or Thursday.  Yea it takes 4 days to reach me. :( He is really excited to participate in the previous 2 graduations and then his.  He said their Division flag symbol is really neat too (well his words were "it is so sick") - LOL  He said they will be getting their graduation photos done and he told me that he would take off those goofy glasses - he wears contacts but can't while there!!  Well got to get back to work - it is so hard after reading his letters.  Have a great day everyone!

I just ordered my PIR Ribbons from Lala The Ribbon Queen!!  She said she would ship them out either tonight or tomorrow!!  They are really neat and this way we will be able to identify each other with the 942 division on the ribbon.

I almost forgot! Ordering them right now! When does BS start?

I didn't get one today either. Last Saturday I did though. But I figure with this week being hell week they probably didn't have a lot of time to write. We should be finding out when their Battlesations are sometime next week, too.

No letter for us either but we received letters on Monday and Thursday - so I will let you know Monday if I get one.

cvargo- I received a letter on Weds but not today. He hasn't said anything about getting extra days to write. I'm sorry you havent received your phone call. You should have gotten it a week ago. Maybe he had to go practice when they made calls. I'm sure it will come soon.

Where can I find some pictures?

Stay strong cvargo - when my SR called 7/29 he actually called my phone and I was actually golfing (putting on the green and didn't hear the call) so he left me a voice message and he immediately called my husbands who happened to be golfing with me so we were able to talk to him.  It was so good to hear his voice.  (and I play his voice message a lot to hear him when I'm feeling blue) - I am so glad he is writing letters though and he sounds so good.  Just think less than 3 weeks and we get to hug them!!
YAY!!  So happy you finally got your call!  No matter how long a call is, it still only seems like a minute long-lol!  Hopefully he was dropping you a hint about that phone call!!  I won't get my hopes up, but I'll definitely make sure my phone is on me!  Again, so happy you got your call!!  :)

Ah I didn't get one, but glad you were able to talk even for a minute.  I really hope they called next week!  Thanks for the update,
