Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Missed our as well did you get any letters?

 

I did got 2 letters and 2 surveys back.  It was so good to hear from him.  I was so devasated to miss his call.  I cried like a baby.

Missed the call was in a meeting. Dad missed the call out of cell range

Grandparents got to talk to him. His calling card charges 35 min for each of the calls 

that insane 2 cell missed and one home used up 105min

Any better cards out there

devel2003 I couldnt find one so I just bought the largest one I could find.  I bought a 1000 minute card from Sams.  It seemed to be the best deal.

Sorry I didnt reply earlier, I havent been on N4M at all today until now.  My daughter had a band thing this after noon we had to attend.
talked 15 minutes wuth MY SR today - oh what mucis to a mamas ears. Your childs voice..... He is in the Band playing a Snare - Good for him. Anita I think my son and your daughter may be working together. I hope all gets better for them in this DIV. Son said its been fun for him - He is having a blast. I am so glad he is up beat. Said he is trying to encourage others who are homesick. Well prayers for 02-944 Love you and Good nite.

Got a letter TODAY. Passed his test and have time on Sat to spin for a few hrs. He so enjoyed it at ROTC

Can't wait till 9/16 to see him

 

We are thinking he is on drill. All he said in the letter is he gets to spin 4-5 hrs on Saturdays. He was on the rifle team in ROTC. I will definitely ask that question if we get a call. Our sons name is Andrew.

Cool, did you already but tickets etc for the 16th
