This is a group set up by moms who want to help Sailors who do not recieve mail for whatever reasons. We all know how important it is for our SR's to recieve mail from home while they are so far away from home and their loved ones. If all it takes is one letter to brighten a boys day when his name is called at mail time. I know my son felt bad for those guys and I wished I had a way to help. well now I can and so can you by either joining our group and/or providing names (we have the addresses) privately of course and no one will know who this information came from. Please private message me if you can get names from your SR through letters or phone calls so that we may start writing. Thank you in advance for your help.

Wonderful Idea!  I adopted a boy swearing into the Army at MEPS cause I couldn't stand that he didn't have someone there to witness it, so you can count on me.  As soon as I can get letters back from my SR, I'll be helping with names.
This is such a great idea!  I can't imagine going through Boot Camp without getting letters!  I haven't received my first letter from my SR yet, but when I mail his next one out, I will ask him if there is anyone to write to.  Thanks for the idea!!
thank you ladies
The idea that a young sailor would not have mail breaks my heart! Please count me in :)
Thank You ladies, We have a few names. The PIR is 8/12 so you might have to write fast
For those of you who supplied names and wrote letters, you have made a few recruits very happy. Hoping to get some new names in the groups after 8/12 PIR. Thank You, Tina

JoJo I rec'd a short letter from one of the guys the other day. It felt really good, like I have done something to make a difference in someone life.

This is a great idea and it just so happen that on a letter i wrote to my SR i asked him to give me names of SR who are not recieving mail so that i can send some things to them. So i am still waiting on a reply.
Thank you so much desiree. It is a great idea.
I am looking for someone who sent me a friend request the other day and said they have a name. I deleted your message by mistake and we have alot of eager moms ready to start writing.
I wish I could. Someone the other day sent me a friend request the other day and attached a meesage to the request. As soon as I accepted the request I lost the message. If she gets back to me I will forward the name to you.
I have become aware of some SRs who have not gotten a letter.  Let me know if you can write one of them.
