I thought the BattleStation for our Div started Tuesday and was over Wednesday. Which means we should get the "I'm a Sailor" call sometime on Wednesday.

Could be, but these dates were based on letters several of us received.  Here's a link of the discussion on this in Battle Station forum.   Let us know if you find out something different, can't miss this call!!

My son called Thursday night and talked to his girlfriend. He told her they would do it Tuesday and should be done Wednesday morning. So we should get the call sometime Wednesday. Not sure though, just going by what he said.

That's even better!!! :) Thank you, will post as soon as I get my call.

...sad I didn't get a call Thursday, last we spoke was Saturday Aug. 6

Okay, I need for someone to help me contain my excitement...!!!!!!...!!!!!! I can't wait to see my baby.
I have resolved to only take one carry-on bag with me. But each day, I'm adding to my "take with me" group (mostly her personal things I think she will enjoy) . I'm going to surprise her with a lovely graduation gift, it's a matching necklace and earrings both with dangling Navy and Corpsman’s symbols.

Can’t wait to meet everyone……..

Morning

I have been trying to come up with a good graduation gift idea for my son. Are they allowed to keep items given? I know we are hoping for the most possible time with our new sailors, is anyone making plans? I seen a lot of tours, etc. I don't want waste a minute figuring out to do or waiting in line for a table. I was thinking about booking a few things and then just seeing what fits best in the moment.

I got my blue candle and will be sending good thoughts and strength....

....don't think they can keep anything just yet.  But I'm bring all her gadgets (cell phone, Ipad, Ipod, etc.), at least she can have it for a little while.

We are going to Six Flags!!!  :)

I think thats where all my kids want to go too=))) lol!!! Im actually gonna have them all three together=)) YAYYYYYY!!!! IT GETS HARD WITH THEM ALL IN MILITARY... now with the youngest one in a totally different branch... this is gonna be interesting=) But I am so proud of all of them=)))) See you in a few days=))))
I keep asking my son and he tells me he doesn't know what he wants to do. I don't want to make a bunch of plans because i don't know how tired he would be. I was hoping the amusement park.
I think we are going to do the Navy Pier. There are various boat tours from there. I thought it might be a good way to see some of Chicago. We did that in NYC and it was nice. Not sure when we"ll be back there.  Who knows, hoping he calls and I can ask him what he'd like to do!
