That's sounds awesome. I guess my dad wants us to look into the trolly tour also. He said that he can't do the amusement park. It said to go to theRE for more info. I Will have to get more info from you at meet n greet. It is so hard knowing what he wants to do.
what's the trolly tour?

this is one of them: http://www.coachusa.com/chicagotrolley/

If you guys get the chance on Friday, I recommend Millennium Park. The "Bean" (aka Cloud Gate - if you google it) is pretty cool. Navy Pier is fun and is one of the stops on the trolley tour above that would also take you to Millennium Park and to other sites all around Chicago. It is a beautiful city, people are generally friendly and there is a bunch to do. There may be more than one trolley tour, this is one I found right away. I always thought there was a free trolley that went around from Navy Pier to sites downtown. I'll have to keep looking for that. If I find it I'll get back on here and post it.

I am bummed, no more free trolley, guess they discontinued that a couple of years ago.

i looked but couldn't find it.  didn't is see someone post about earrings for the female SR's?  i would like to get mine a pair of pearl posts (her hubby's bday is in june and it's a birthstone).  can they wear pearls with their uniforms and what size?

thanks!

4 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes -  I got my daughter some earrings..... she won't be able to wear these in her uniform.  (I don't know what I was thinking, but they are so cute).

Getting a lot less sleep these days- nerves. I could only imagine how our SR's are feeling!

I am having a hard time staying focused today at work. I'm so glad I only work today and off the rest of the week!

My nerves are crazy! No sleep, sick to my stomach, crying and laughing. I can't believe we are so close. The problem is it is only the beginning. Ready to see my son though. We live in lower Alabama so we are leaving tomorrow morning. We decided to drive and take a couple days to get to Great Lakes. Sooooo excited!

Have a safe trip and see you soon!

Drive safe Misty, I flying from Crestview Florida (as close to Alabama as you'll get in Florida)....

I have been there sooooooo many times=) I use to live in Niceville and Destin=)

Haaa what a small world!!! - been here about 6 years.
