Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Lee Ann....I am in the same area as you - did your son go to Mill Creek? My son Chris graduated in '07 and is currently in GL finishing corpsman school.
hey Kim....heard about Justin...told chris too....congrats to him!!!! Chris was offered Nuke....didnt want it (figures!) he is now at camp Legeune in FMTB school.....really loves it ..... heard you have a store now...will come by to visit!!! btw...tell Justin it is COLD in GL in Feb!!!!
Kim, I'm Judi from Athens. My son is at Nuke school now. He just graduated from Power School and is on hold for Prototype - may be as long as 6 months hold. He's hoping he can stat at GC and not have to go to Ballston Spa, NY.

Hi Judi, I am Nikki from Newnan. My son will PIR on 03/02 then head to GC on 03/03. We were so excited to kow that he got GC instead of Ballston Spa. I know that you sure do hope that your son can stay there as well.

My son, Kenny, left for boot camp on February 9th and is in the Nuke program. We live in The Central Savannah River Area where the Master's golf tournament is played each April (Linda)

I'm Stephanie and I live in Senoia, 3 miles from Peachtree City. My son is in his 4th week of BC. He will graduate 10/9/09 and will remain in GL for 8 weeks to attend A School (GSM school).
My name is Tina. My son is on USS McCampbell. Live in Jefferson and work in Winder.
I have two grandchildren in Navy, one at GL finishing up basic will graduated March 12, 2010 and my grand-daughter is at Norfolk, VA assigned to the James E Williams Fighter ship. The docked in October and will go back out soon.. maybe in april. Then another grand-son in the Coast Guards, he has been in 1 1/2 years or more and is in additional schooling in Yorktown VA. But I love in Statham, GA. go to winder all the time. My Son and his wife, son in Navy live in Winder, my daughter with son at Great lakes lives in Auburn, and my deaughter who's daughter in Norfolk lives in Loganville.
