Hey girl - thanks for asking, it was wonderful!! It was so nice to spend time with Travis. We stayed at the Villas and they were pretty nice. Awful humidity, but that's okay. Charleston was beautiful. The weekend went by so quickly, we both wondered if somehow it was just a dream! Thanks for asking :)

 

Is Mike back on base yet? How has his leave been for you two?

Bad news..... Travis woke up with pink eye last week. When he went to medical they gave him some eye drops and told him that he was not allowed to go to class that day. It was the second day of digital notes which I guess was a very intensive day, and because he missed that, he got rolled back a week for school! :( Not the end of the world, but a little frustrating that because of one day (and he didn't ask to skip class, would have totally gone) he has to graduate a week later. Long story short....that means he's no longer in 1131, and is now in 1132! Boo!! Think I'll still hang around and talk because we've gotten to know each other since May! But I won't know about class schedules anymore for 1131 haha

I can't believe they rolled him back for missing one day! I understand why they kept him out of class since pink eye is soooo contagious, but they could have let him try! My son calls after each test so I have a good idea when the tests are going to happen. 

I can't wait to go to Charleston in October - hopefully it won't be as humid as it is now.  I'm glad you had a good time in Charleston.  Waiting to see if Joey's chit gets approved so he can come home for Labor Day weekend.  We bought the tickets form Southwest since we can change them without a fee if needed.
