For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Sept 16, 2011 BC Graduation
We just found out that our son is graduating on Sept 16th. He is on Ship 12 Div 312. I just wanted to know if there are any other moms that have a kid in this Div. or another one who is graduating on this day.
Also I was wondering when would we know if the date of graduation would change. Well actually is there a date (a week before?) that they were graduating on that day.

No, I am in Texas, and financially we can't afford and for me I would have to try and carry oxygen along and so much. Where are you from? I can't wait to see Curtis in a uniform picture, I bet they look so handsome.

I know that each SR is allowed 4 guests to put on their guest list. John Michael has 4 on his guest list but his Grandpa is wanting to go into the PIR also. Would you ask Curtis if he could add Michael Lawlor to his guest list. We would be so greatful. What happens is at PIR the guests have to give the name of the SR that they are there to see. Then they look up the name of the SR to make sure that this person is on the guest list.

It will be great to see them in their uniforms! Have you got lots of letters from your son? I guess today is the last PTA (physical test assessment), I know my son had a hard time with push-ups. So I'm praying that he will pass that today. Then on Saturday they have Caption Cup contest. That is like a field day were they compete with each other doing all the skills that they have learned. It sounds like a fun day. I told my son that it would be nice to win, but just having a little down day is a prize in itself.

This sound like alot of fun for them. I have had several letters from my son, one phone call. I will write a letter tomorrow about adding Michael Lawlor to his list for you.

lemon, Glenda hasn't disclose her sailor's full name. John's mom ask Glenda to have her sailor add John's Grandpa's name to his guest list since John has 5 and Curtis has < than 4.
