For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I am not sure exactly who the designer is - but I think they did a GREAT job!!
Let's put this label on every card, letter and package we send!.
Hopefully, "sending Molly's" becomes a household name!!
The label is about 2" x 3". All you need to do is find labels that fit your printer and make them up with the attached picture. If you don't know how to make labels - just buy some and then let me know what brand you bought. There usually is a number on the package - Like Avery 8163 are 2" x 4",

Brenda Sue, you seem to be the expert on the labels. I need to print out labels for tthe baggies of cookies i'm sending to Diane in FL 12/11/10.
I have a fairly new HP printer and will get the labels you recommened Avery 8163. Once i get that I might need help.
If you have suggestions now please let me know.

The main thing is just to be sure you have the printer loaded correctly. I usually put an "x" on a piece of paper and print it to see which side my printer prints on. That way I don't waste a whole page of ink printing on the wrong side.
I don't know why I can remember a LONG definition from 1978 (from economics 131) - but I can't remember how my printer works from yesterday! -

What labels do we use for making the cookie label? I know it's not the 2x4 ones. I'd like to get the ones that match up with the cookie label doc.

Kim, just tell me the brand and number of you labels and I'll make you some. Or tell me how many on a page - and I'll try to figure it out! Call me if you want - you have my number (Just not before 5 in the morning or after 8 until 4 and then not after midnight)! Got that?

I hadn't gotten any labels yet. My oven is giving me fits and I may just have no bake cookies. lol
