Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

This is an awesome article and yes I am crying. Reading this makes me think of my son thinking and saying the same thing to me. I am so proud of my son and our military forces. He is right now in A School and entered the Navy for reserves but recently has told me he likes it so much that he wants to go active. I was not really surprised but scared but I know that it is time to let go of my little bird and let him soar like the eagle he wants and will be. I am a PROUD NAVY MOM!! wonderful article and yes i am crying . It came perfectly my son is at boot camp and grad is in 10 days!!! This pass week i have been soo strange, irritable and kind of more anxious for PIR, this weeks are longer and longer. It's been hard for me too to let go my first born. I missed him yelling at me downstair Ma I am home and in less that two weeks he wil be a SAILOR. I am a proud Navy Mom, HOWEVER I MISS HIM SOO MUCH. THANKS TO THIS WEB IT'S A GREAT Support for me and all moms, wife significant one that keep us connected. Reading this article made me realize why i have been soo emotional tis week. Miss my baby boy. Can't wait to see him with his uniform. God bless all our military people all the time, they are there to protect our Ccuntry.

What a great article. It so says what all of us feel about our sons and daughters that have chosen a career in the military. I was scared at first when my son made his choice. There have been many days that that scared mom creeps up on me and others. Just knowing he is where he wanted to be makes me happy. He will always be my little boy but now he is a man. Serving his country. He is still in boot camp til 9/9. I am a PROUD NAVY MOM. I am also proud of all the other men and women who answered the call to serve this great nation. Thank you to them and to all of you moms out there who have been willing to allow your children to be amazing adults.

This brought tears to my eyes. My sailor flew into Tokyo at 2 am this morning. First deployment. I am also a PROUD NAVY MOM.
