I didn't hear from my SR any word on her A school orders. She'll be going to corpsman training. Her recruiter told her she'd go to GL (even though a few weeks before she left, he told her it might be San Antonio). I'm hearing thru N4M, that they're sending all corpsman to SA now. Either way- does anyone know how long we'll have with our SRs after PIR?

Besides that, I thought a discussion group of us with corpsman can share any info we get on that anyway. Come join in!

Papercrafter~ it is wonderful to see them make changes in their lives and realize that they are now in control of what they want and how to get it:)

Hi ladies!! I know I've been out of commission for a while (a trip to San Antonio <3 and foot surgery) but I'm happy to see we're all doing ok. :) My hubby's classes started yesterday (185 Bravo...I think...maybe Alpha? ha, I'm horrible!!) and he is STOKED!!! CPR class is today.

Miss and love you all!! <3

hope you had a wonderful birthday too Miss Jillian ;)

I hope you guys are still checking in...

I like to use this board for corpsman info. I feel bad taking up the facebook stuff with something so specific. Anyway- hope everyone is doing well!  Has anyone chosen their orders yet???? Christina said class 185 should be choosing this week, so I'm assuming some of your sailors already have. What are they looking like??? I'm just so curious about how we're all growing. (wink)

Have a great day

DEBBIEEEEEEE! Hello lovely! :) Don't feel bad about the FB page-I certainly enjoy your posts! Matt is hoping 185 chooses this week...the suspense is killing me! He's going to try and get into the Respiratory Therapy Technician C-School. We're praying that goes through because then I can move to San Antonio for a year (and be closer to you!) and he'd graduate with an Associates degree. We'd be able to spend the holidays together...YAY! I hope you all are doing well. Lots of hugs!!

HI, Class 180 chose last week. My daughter said that it was just what they would like to do, that nothing is set in stone until a few weeks before graduation. She said that alot of schools are closed right now because so many people want them. She said some sailors picked to go out into the fleet and pick a  C school later. She was very excited as I think alot of them are ready to get there career going. Hope this helps

The best news is that I get to go visit for the weekend. This friday, I will be hugging my girl. I can't wait. If you didn't know I am very EXCITED

What did she choose, Papercrafter????

And have fun!

she is hoping to go to Optometry school. I am not sure if it is this one or the other one (Ophthalmology) that requires more school. I will have to find out. She was pretty happy about it and hoped that it would not have to change.

Thanks I will do my best.

I love you, Jillian!!!

Hey Ladies,

Been out of touch for a while. We spent 16 days in July/Aug in Florida, San Antonio & Tennessee:) Got to see both my boys & my beautiful granddaughter. Had a great time in SA with Ty. Class 175 also chose orders last week. Ty wanted to go back to Japan (we were stationed there when the kids were little) and was able to get orders there. He is very excited. He will be home for a couple weeks before he goes. He will get home for the last weekend of archery deer hunting, so is happy about that, not to mention his 19th birthday.

This is such an exciting time for them all can't wait to hear where everyone it headed. Nice to be back in touch with all of you:)
