Same here. I just woke up. Well, there is always next Monday and Tuesday! I'm kinda glad the Mixed up monday is at noon, not ten... lol!
So 10 my time mixed up monday...... got it
My husband is currently unemployed, so he's home all day.  So I don't think we've missed a call.  I'll keep that in mind though  if we go out somewhere. Thanks

I received a letter today! He sounds much better and that they are finally getting it together as a unit. (At least with the marching.)  He also said they took his wisdom teeth out last week so maybe that's why we didn't get a call. Maybe next time.

Got two letters today. My SR sounded...beat. Very down. He told me that people in his division have started hiding food in their lockers, which equals more IT. He also has an ear infection, cough, cold, and barely no voice. He wasn't looking forward to hell week what so ever! I felt so bad ):  that and the medicine he's on isn't working at all. He wants bc to be done with! I told him in my latest letter to keep his head up high and to keep pushing forward. He's also really sad because he was told he might be able to come home after bootcamp because his classes will more than likely get pushed back. But now he's not. I wish I knew what to tell him to make him feel better.

Glad your SR's are doing better! Maybe mine just had an off day. I know what those are like.
My son also was mad about the food.  He said that cost them an hour of IT.  He also told me they pulled his wisdom teeth last week, so I wonder if that's why he hasn't called.  He told me that he'll probably leave Saturday 9/17 for A school.  It's a bummer, but at least at that point we can talk to him and skype with him. Hang in there Julie.  We're getting closer to PIR every day!   Hope he feels better soon.
I'll be praying for the both of you.  I know its hard having him gone but to hear him like that makes it harder.  21 more days!!!  2 more fridays!!!!!
I got a letter from my SR and he seems to be doing good also. He says he is ready for A school. It is 7 weeks. Im glad he sounds chipper. Im glad to read these postings it really does help. Thanks ladies, and Mikes dad.

Hope you guys get alot of letters and maybe a phone call today! No mail for me sadly, but just think. Only two more PIR's then its our turn!! So exciting!! Oh, and I also got my shirt done already. I figured instead of ordering it, why not make my own? It turned out to be alot cheaper for me. So I will be wearing it every friday (to support the troops) and maybe even after PIR, just for my SR (:

I hope you all have a wonderful friday!

WOW...good job getting your shirt done.  I need to do mine this weekend.  Are you going to be at the meet-n-great?

What  are you all putting on these shirts?  When would you be wearing them?

On mine, I put "US NAVY.  PIR 9/16. SHIP 12 DIV 312" And on the back I put "SR -his last name-" But on the front I put it all over, so it covers the whole shirt.

And to John's Mom- We are gonna try to be at the Meet And Greet, but as of right now, me and my mom will be driving from Nebraska, and with the route we are going to get to the Great Lakes area, it might take us awhile. But my mom said if we make it in time that we would deffinatly go to the meet and greet! Will you be attending?
