I've heard a bunch of different things about how I can't even hug my husband when I see him at grad. Is this true...What other rules are there?

You're welcome! They'll have all the info you're looking for about "etiquette" and trust me you don't want to break the rules because your hubby's the one that's gonna pay for it! And they also have all kinds of other helpful info including travel tips and things like that :)

Hi, I just posted this recently while "talking" to someone else with similar thoughts.  Hope it helps.

When you first see him, they dont expect you to keep your distance, mostly it just means dont get carried away. I tried to follow the rules and Bret was actually disappointed because I didn't run up and kiss him. I hugged him and he was like, "well, kiss me!" Haha! But they do mean it, even off base. I forgot one time all weekend and held his had on a pier and a guy in civilian clothes walked by and yelled at him! So just be conscientious, but dont be afraid. I held his arm all weekend. It actually made me feel kind of fancy Haha like something out of an old movie.
More motivation just to stay at the hotel while we have time together =) but I am sure he will want out after being locked up there for eight weeks, can't blame him. Just dont want him to get in trouble after how hard he has worked.
Is he staying in GL for A school?
No, he is going to Pensacola
what are their boundaries for after grad, but before leaving to a-school? where are they allowed to go? his family and i definately want to spend time with him while we are there before he has to go to school, what are the rules regarding that?

During PIR weekend, they must stay within 50 miles of the base.  They will have a curfew and have to return to the base in the evening, be sure he is there 30 minutes early so he can cross the base easily.

They are not allowed to drive a car or drink alcoholic beverages that weekend.

oh make sure they are there on time!!! They will lose liberty the next day for their WHOLE division if they are late!!! but they wont be able to tell you. My husbands division had someone late they lost liberty but they got it back bc all the guys didnt freak out on him. they just let it slide the kid already felt really bad. so they earned theirs back but it doesnt always happen.
