I would love to set up a Get Together for the area. I am thinking about the Cranberry Twp area because it is where the major highways cross. I-79 and the turnpike both have exits here.

I would like to hear from anyone interested in meeting up sometime in August. Any and all ideas are welcome.

The Get Together is now planned for August 27th at Monte Cello's on Rt 19 in Cranberry Twp. I'll post directions from north and south, this weekend.

Directions. From the north. Take I-79 south to the Cranberry (RT 228) exit. Take west exit to RT 19. Rt 19 is the first right turn, so stay in the far right lane and turn right (going north). At the 3rd light, turn left onto Brandt. The shopping center is on your left. Monte Cello's

From the south on the Turnpike. Take Cranberry exit and follow signs to Rt 19 north. At the 5th light (not counting the light at the exit) , turn left at Brandt. The shopping center is on your left.

From the south on I-79. Take the 2nd Cranberry exit, the right hand exit onto RT 228. Turn left onto Rt 228 going west. At the 2nd light, turn right onto Rt 19. At the third light turn left on to Brandt. The shopping center in on your left.

If anyone has any questions about these directions please let me know.

HI Moms,

Shirts are in! Sailor is in!  Survived the earthquake & Hershey Park w/30-something screeming kids! LIFE IS GOOD ;)

See ya'll on Saturday!

Looking forward to meeting you and of course your sailor.

I just talked to my sailor in Va Beach. He is feeling kind of like "enough already". First an earthquake and now a hurricane. Is it to much to ask people to pray that the darn thing takes a right turn and heads out to sea?

LOL, yeah Really LLove!  My sailor just got back from 2-yrs of battling Major hurricanes in GTMO and earthquakes in SanDiego...only to come home for a short visit and go thru one "in his own backyard"! LOL

Hope everything is OK for your sailor! (((huggs))) for him! LOL

RATS! My car is in the shop and I don't know if I will get it  back in time for the meeting Sat.!!!!!

Jeano - Let me know how much I owe you for the shirt/shipping and I will get a check or money order out to you ASAP, as I should know tomorrow if I can make it Sat. or not....

I was so looking forward to meeting you all...

KELLY - Do you know if your going to get to see you son yet?

OH NO! LMNS...where do you live?  We can come get you!!  PPPPLLLEEEAASSSEEE!

Hey, Hi Jeano...I live in Northern Cambria -- 45 minutes S of Punxsy, N of Johnstow, E of Altoona & W of Indiana! hehehhe......My car isn't ready to be pick-up. Because it is an older car and we've be talking about getting a newer one, we just don't want to sink the kind of money the garage wants....so my husband has a friend that is going to do the repairs for a fraction of the cost, so that means delays.

I really appreciate your offer, but just don't see that it will work out (where are you located anyway)? I was going to head up tomorrow because we have plans tonight to go to a going away party for a member of our church and my husband has a wedding rehersal before that...

Jeano - if you pm your address, I will send the $9 for the t-shirt I ordered....I don't mind the shipping, but do again appreciate your kindness...I sure hope you all have a great time sharing pictures and stories about your sailors and bragging on them!!!! You all will have to keep me posted how it went - I'm SO SO BUMMED OUT

i everyone. yes i did see my son. i was in norfolk from the 19-22. he was able to take me on board and show me what he does. everything was amazing. i just wish they would give these sailors a better place to relax.he showed me the lounge, very dingy and gray. on the good note he has adjusted well as it seems to me. he was able to get leave so he is home here with me know. so when his ship went out he wasnt on board. but he did call his commanding officer and ask if he was to come back early. as of rite now he is coming to the lunch with me on saturday.

Yeah Kelly!  That's great news!  I'll be able to give Mom (((Huggs))) to a sailor too! (Mine doesn't count....I (((hugg))) him all the time anyway ;)

So hoping that Lovemynavyson will be able to work things out ;(

Can't wait!!! We are leaving around 5:30pm for the Burgh!!

See ya'll tomorrow!

If anyone wants my cell phone number, please PM me your e-mail address. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

I'm on my way down to Pittsburgh. I may be LATE. I hope someone reads this because I have no one's cell....

Had a great visit with the Navy Mom's today!!
Holly, Jean, Lyn, and Kelly - It was so great to meet you and your sailors yesterday! What a great time ~ Hope we can do it again!!
