I finally got a call from my SR!!!!!!!  Yay.........and yes he also has a cold LOL. Div.329
If any of you are on Facebook and want to be friends send me an email
Just sent you a friend request then will send you my FB address.  :*)
Great day indeed.   My SR said about 75% of them have had some type of cold, flu, sore throat.  Sounds like that is part of the process though.  So many housed together.
Got a call from my husband around 5:00 their time! It was so awesome to hear his voice!! How long did you all get to talk? We had about 15 minutes. He also had a cold and had 3 wisdom teeth pulled. We got our first payment today as well, did anyone else receive theirs? We set up an account with Navy Federal and you receive the direct depiost a day early. I also got 7 letters from him today, so it was an awesome day!!! I can't wait for the next call! :) :)
I got a call also but he split time between me and his gf (which is ok).  It was good to hear from him.  He got pd yesterday :).  He has had flu and 4 wisdom teeth pulled and a cavity taken care of.  But he sounded positive!
My son said he had his 4 wisdom teeth pulled also.  He said it was very easy and they didn't even put him out for it.  Thank God he wasnt sick but he usually is the last one to get it.  He made some good friends but I wish I knew a way to find them on here. He wants me to write him and tell him who I know on here. I think Wednesday was the best day I have had in a long time.  A letter and phone call all in 1 day was great. It's funny that all it takes for me to have a great day is talk to my son.  4 weeks ago I took it for granted.
My son was relieved that he already had his wisdom teeth pulled last year so he was not included in the 25 who did however he does have to have a root canal on a tooth he broke a few years ago. I am grateful the Navy will take care of it for him. I know how you feel about it being a great day for me a great week with 2 letters and the phone call. I think sometimes we take for granted how even the sound of someone's voice can mean so much to us. Not seeing them is one thing but not getting to talk to them for three weeks was the worst. I feel so much better, and I know we will all make it through this now. It really helps his brother and sisters to get the letters too.
Got our first phone call yesterday!!! WOOT WOOT!!!  He told his mom he was doing well. She said he sounded great!  He said he will call my husband next time.  Must be difficult for them to determine who to call.  They can only write on Sundays but can receive mail daily.  We live outside of Lee's Summit MO.
In my husbands last letters, he said their division earned the privilege to be able to write on Tuesday's and thursdays now as well!! I'm not sure if they can send them out then or if they have to wait til Sunday to mail them out. Just wanted to let everyone know!
