I got my son's address today. Has been a long week waiting to get it. Anyone else's loved one on Ship 09 Div 337?

Tina My son is also in that ship & Div.  I was so happy to come home from work and see that letter in the mailbox.  It was a week today that he left and we didn't get a kid in the box because he didn't take anything.  This has made my day, I was happy to see he could write a remark.

Yes Tina, my son is on this ship and we received his letter today.  We were very excited to get a few lines on the bottom of the letter. He said he didn't really like it but that he was okay and he would get through it.  Is this normal for the 1st week?

Hi everyone!  My son Taylor is on Ship 09 and in DIV 337.  We are from Denton, Texas.  I miss him so much!  I mailed his first letter today.  Probably will mail another one tomorrow.  Taylor is 18 and will be going to Corpsman A school.  How about you guys?

Hi my son is also on ship 09 Div 337.  We are from Gilbert Arizona.  So much better now that we have an address and can write letters.  Can't wait to get his letters.

We are from Columbus, Ohio, my son will be going to Meridan, MS for A school, he will be a LS.  I'm looking forward to letters.  I'm happy they will only be there 7 weeks instead of 8 but their day must be real full with training to get everything done.

My son is also Ship 09 Div 337. I was so happy to get that first letter from him and have an address to write him. He is from Croydon, Pa. I just cant wait to get a real letter from him. I miss him so much, he is my best friend. :)

Has anyone received any letters or calls from their recruit?  My friend received her first phone call today and her son left a week before mine.  So I'm hoping maybe by next week a phone call, maybe?  When she talked to him he said that she should be getting a letter from him soon.  He had just mailed one a day or so ago.  I went into full panic mode the other day when I left my phone at home.  So, I rushed home almost getting a ticket.  Nope no call yet.  I miss miss miss him!  Just to hear his voice will be such a relief!
Woo Hoo!! Got a letter from my son today. I hope all of you did too. He seems to be adjusting just fine.

When did your son arrive?

Hi everyone.  I got a bunch of letters that my son wrote all in the same envelope last Thursday.  And then about 20 minutes later I got a PHONE CALL!  I got to talk to him for about 40 minutes.  Oh, it was so good to hear from him.  He seems to be doing alright.  I think ready for bootcamp to be over though.  I can't wait to see him at graduation!
My SR's PIR is 10/7/11.  I haven't received the "I'm a Sailor" call yet.  I'm guessing that his DIV (337) isn't through with Battlestations?  Anyone from 09/337 received a call yet?
