Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

When my daughter was in bootcamp we didn't get a call until she was in 3 weeks. The first week did not count because recruits came in every day the first week. So bootcamp didn't start until August 22nd for our men/women. So this is just the second week. I didn't receive my first letter until after that call. I didn't receive many calls from my daughter. She said it was because her division liked to talk. They penalize the whole group for 1 person.They want to break them down then rebuild them. But don't worry my daughter came out the same as she went in. It may have changed since March though. I few things have, so my daughter says. They get to use camelbacks instead of canteens and girls don't have to cut their hair. Hope this helped everyone.

My Mom just called me to tell me she got a letter from our son. She was one very excited Grandma. I sure hope that when I get home from work there is a letter in there for Mom & Dad. We live in Columbus, Ohio. I was thinking it might be today because our form letter got to us 3 days after the postmark on the envelope. It had been my understanding that they usually got to write on Sunday's. He told her he didn't have as much time to write as he thought he would.

Still no mail or phone calls, I just talked with my sister who lives in Chicago , her SR is a week ahead of our SR'S ( my niece ) my sis got 2 letters today so hopefully we should get mail very very soon .

I'm going crazy waiting on the mail today!!!! And my family keeps making fun of me cause my phone seems to be attached to my han and i freak out if i can'rt find it lol!!!!
