As far as I know, it was just my fiance. Though, I am sure there are others that got a 5.0 as well! And still no letters? I'm sure they should be there tomorrow!
My son said he got a 5.0 on his last 2 inspections.  He said they are working hard so that they can make a call home.  ;)
Yay!! Thats great to hear!! I hope we get some soon. My phone hasn't left my side since July 26th! lol

I just heard from my son....he is doing great...he got sharp shooter and they won a flag he said...im so glad he isnt down anymore...he cant wait for graduation. The phone call only lasted 2 minutes.

he also said he passed his eye exam for his job....and that he was happy....

I just got off the phone with my son also.  It is so hard to have such a short time to talk.  I know he was trying to remember everything he wanted to tell us.  But he sounds wonderful!!!  And I asked him about the 5.0 on inspections, and he said that was for the whole DIV.

Just talked to my son as well!  10 whole minutes of bliss.  He said they got 4 flags so the RDC's let them make calls.  He won a sharp shooter ribbon - which is great since he never fired a gun before.  Firefighting is coming up soon.  He sounds really good and is still glad  he enlisted.  He just made my week.  I was getting really depressed.   Come on 9/16!!!

Yes, I just got off the phone with my SR as well!! He also said they got many flags and that they were going to take their last test on the day of bs!! I got the date for that as well. But he told me that their RDC said, "Well, since you all haven't made me want to hang myself, you are allowed phone calls."

Made me laugh. He also said that they should be able to call soon but no set date or anything. 10 minutes here of pure heaven!! But he also said the division is really coming together.

Oh and I also hear that our division may not be doing gas chamber since they are a push division, I was going to enlist and go to bootcamp on May 25th, but since my pregnancy, that has to be put on hold for while, but when I heard that, I just became super jealous of him. Not for sure if thats set in stone. Anyone of you hear about the bs date?

I believe it is that Wednesday night onto Thursday morning 9/15. Don't quote me though.  My son said the same thing about the gas chamber.  I'm a little relieved they may not do the gas chamber.  He just sounded good and I'm so relieved.

Does anyone have a spot for PIR we could use?  Both grandmothers (grandpas are gone now) want to come with.  Makes 5 of us. I don't want to take a chance and have one of the grandmas stuck in the visitor's center because  there was no extra room.  Please let me know and I'll give you the info.  This is so hard with only 4 passes.

I have a spot for a relative with my SR. Give me his name so I can add it to this letter going out today.

Sorry I missed you.  I needed my mother inlaw Marge Powers added.  We'll just have to take our chances.  She's driving up from Arkansas for this.  Hopefully she'll get in.
