Anyone heard anything from their SR? I only got one short letter on Saturday this week. I think my mailman is holding out on me! :)
I haven't received a letter since last Friday :(  Did the letter state how things are going?

It was dated the 19th of August.

  • He said he passed his second PFA that day, that they earned their first flag for PT.
  • They made some silly mistakes on their inspection, but did alright. (His section only had one hit - yay!)
  • They were supposed to drill all weekend. Monday, they had a zone inspection. Tuesday was their drill assessment. Thursday, they had their 2nd test. Friday was live fire shooting.
  • He said that the guys were starting to step up their games, but that they had a long way left to go.
  • And then there's a whole bunch of, "I can't wait for this to be over...." haha!
@ Cluebee, thanks for posting!! Awesome news...My SR says the same things, his favorite things are eating & sleeping!! HA  and he can't wait to be done!! I can't wait to see them -- 18 more days!
just an update on your ribbon orders, most of the ribbons for your group are now finished and if you have not received them already they were were shipped today or will be shipped tomorrow and Wednesday morning. Your should all have them by this weekend. If you ordered and have not mailed your payment or paid through PayPal please contact me and let me know how you will be making your payment. It is not too late to make the payment and not to late to order ribbons. I hope you all have a great week. You don't have to wait much longer to see your Sailors and I know you are getting very excited :-)
Any word on battlestations yet? What day?

I have received no indication from my husband. He doesn't like to write about little things like what he actually does on a daily basis, what is coming up, or anything like that. Something tells me that I will not be the one to find out the BS date. Call it a hunch ;)

I did get some letters today. He mentioned that they did get another flag for drill assessment and that no one failed test #2.

Thanks for the info.

YAH! Thanks for the info -
Way to go 308 winning the Captian's Cup!!!!
