sent off the paper work?  He should have turned it all in to PSD.  I would say the Sailor needs to go check at PSD what is going on with the money.  It could take a few months to get the rest.  Navy isn't the fastest about paying people....but is fast about taking your money if you owe it.
the packet and PPO said to mail it to Norfolk.
We had to send our package for our DITY move reimbursement off as well, sent it all to Norfolk.  I made sure and got delivery confirmation on it, made sure it got there, and then about 2 or 3 weeks later I called the office to check on the status of our package.  They can tell you what stage it is at, if it has been approved, shipped out, etc....maybe try looking into that.
thats what i should do.. what is the office called? since i mailed everything off i can't remember. i wish that i would have got a delivery conformation, i didnt think of it! there is always that worry in my mind that it didn't make it there.
I totally understand!  I went through our stuff numerous times to make sure everything was in it before it got mailed out too...did you make copies of everything you sent?  Because I got the phone number from one of the forms that had the address we sent it to on it....I think its your application form for the reimbursement, but not sure....and it had the phone number to the office right below the address...and I can't remember the name of the office, it took all the space on the envelope to write it!!  Hmmm....well we went through our PPO office as well, maybe you can set up an appt with them and just ask for the number to check up on your package.
it came in the mail today! :)
