Hey Dodie, my ET sailor is also in 1106, section 5; thanks for starting this discussion. Should be fun to hang out together for the next 6 months...
I just talked to my son on the phone this evening. I forgot to ask him how many sections there are. He did mention that there are 3 EM sections with 32 in each section...
I am here too...bf started last week power school. I NO IDEA what section he is. he is ET...so it could be any number for his section. he doesnt tell me things like that haha

Dodie, thanks for starting a discussion for class 1106.  My son is an EM in this class.  It is nice to be able to communicate with others in this class.

Hi Everyone, my son is an ET in 1106, but I don't know which section.  Hopefully we'll have lots of chatting to help us get through the downs and enjoy the ups 'til Feb. 3rd.

Hi all, My son is class 1106 section 3 and he is an EM.  Does anyone know their grad date yet?  I saw a post that said Feb 3, is that it?  He is coming home for Christmas, does anyone know the dates for Christmas break yet.  I keep asking him but he says he will find out later.  Are any of you going to go to Power School graduation?

Yes, Bigmomma, Grad is set for Feb 3rd.  We plan on coming down from PA.  I've heard that the students will be free to come home for Christmas, but I don't know the dates.

We're planning on attending Power School grad as well. We are renting a house through homeaway.com because it was cheaper than renting 2 rooms where I initially made reservations. I'm just waiting to buy the airfare until Southwest has another sale for Feb. They had a sale for Feb approx 1 month ago, but I missed it. The last sale was only through the end of this year...

I told my son to let me know dates for the holiday stand down so I can buy his tickets as a Christmas gift. Haven't heard anything yet. We're planning on going to Power School graduation. Feb 3rd is definite date?

Before they actually classed up, our son said that he heard that they will have leave during Christmas and leave after graduation, however, they wouldn't have enough leave time accrued to take both so he would have to choose.  I put in my request for Christmas, however, since my son is an adult, I really don't have final say any more. drats!

We are planning on going to Power School graduation in February.

We will be attending the graduation as well. Tentaively planning on arriving Thurs afternoon & coming back home on Saturday...

Well, I bought his airline tickets for Christmas leave. I had been pestering him for about 2 wks to give me the final date/time before the airfare prices starting going up. I found the best deal with Delta.
