I'm looking for anyone with family, spouse or boyfriend in this DIV. I'm a SR wife in just over our 1st year of marriage. Looking for spouse advice or shipmates to help talk about what they are experiencing! Anxious.

still waiting for my phone call from my daughter (SR).  In her first phone call she asked me to make my return flight on Saturday night or even Sunday because I could see her at the airport when she flies out.  I found on the site somewhere today under past PIRs that once they grad they can be dropped off at any of 3 airports at any time, ealry as 1 a.m.) and stay there until their flights any time on Sat.   That's what I have figured out on my own.

My boyfriend is in 12/309! I've been on the RTC page since he left trying to find someone from the same DIV and i couldn't find ANYONE till now! :) lol

awesome.  Is he by chance going to San Antonio for A school?

Zully,

Glad your here! We are just throwing out things we've heard from our SRs. So far I think everyone in this division is Grad n' Go. Which I asked my husbands recruiter what that usually means and he said "usually they graduate Friday and leave Saturday morning-ish" But they could still leave anywhere fom immediatly after PIR to late saturday. And you can spend time with them at the airport.

Thank you :) and yeah so far that's what i heard from him too. But he'll be going to Mississippi for A-School.

What do we need to do to be able to spend time with him at the airport? :)

haha SAME! i felt like he was the only one in there! my husband that is.

and my husband told me they are leaving Saturday morning-ish. and all you have o do is bring your ID to the airport and be with your Sailor and they give you a pass to go with them threw security and all that

I got a ltr today from my SR that says stay by the phone in 5 days (that would be tomorrow, Friday).  Just giving you the heads up.
Aww yaey! Thank you for letting us know :)

My son, Josh, is in the same Ship/Div as your husband.  My daughter in law is experiencing the same woes.  What is your email address?  I will try to get you two connected.  Message me if you want.

Got a letter Thursday saying for sure he flies out sat. I was glad to hear that! as for staying at the airport i'm pretty sure you just go. not sure where you'll be but i've heard numerous times that that's what everybody does, sits with their SR at the airport. I know at o'hare there is a USO where they go but i think only military wives can go in there because you have an ID. Not too sure about any of this though so don't quote me! ha ha! Anybody have any good ideas about something fun to do with your SR and family?

There is a girlfriend on facebook that posted this message in our divisions (314) discussion and didn't if any of you could possible help her out. Thanks!
