just an update on your ribbon orders, most of the ribbons for your group are now finished and if you have not received them already they were were shipped today or will be shipped tomorrow and Wednesday morning. Your should all have them by this weekend. If you ordered and have not mailed your payment or paid through PayPal please contact me and let me know how you will be making your payment. It is not too late to make the payment and not to late to order ribbons. I hope you all have a great week. You don't have to wait much longer to see your Sailors and I know you are getting very excited :-)

Ribbons? For? I know you are probably repeating yourself from an earlier time.

Thanks Dianne

check out Lala facebook page its unique memory makers. I ordered mine about a week ago.  I bought them to wear to PIR.  I also am going to be using one ribbon for a shadow box I am having made.
Hi Dianne, I sent you a friend request. Just send me an email back and I will send you the info for ordering ribbons. It is not too late but let me know asap.  Lora

Can't wait to get my ribbons.  Its one more thing off my list of things to get before PIR.  Helps me keep focused on something other than how much I miss my kid.

I received my ribbons over the weekend.  They are beautiful!!  I will be so proud to wear it at graduation.  Thanks again Lala!
Thanks Piper, I am so glad you like them :-) They do look a million times better in person. I wish I could get some better pics but I have tried and tried and the pictures never do the justice :-)

~*~ MAIL CALL ~*~    GOOD NEWS 02/944!  Our division won the Zone Flag and the Drill Flag!  Bad News - they killed 52 of their own during Marlinespike.  She writes that she ordered photo packages.  She is worried about the last major test before Battle Stations 21.   Says she won't be able to write as much during these next two weeks, extremely busy but asks for letters of support.  She is asking me to send off football stats and says her bunkmate's name is "O" x x x "R".    Anyone got a SR with those in their name?  Begins with an "O", ends with a "R".  Just wondering :-)    Seven letters in 6 weeks...I'm happy with that!!!!

I got a much needed letter from my SR!  Its definetly improved my mood.  On Monday and Tuesday I was so depressed and was missing the hell out of him.  I have so missed his daily hey mom what ya doin call.  Hes always sounds so postive in his letters and never one complaint.  Which I am glad I would probably worry more.  Said he received his first Ribbon but didnt exactly tell me what it was for.  Thats my boy never gives all the detail. He said he loves the comic strip at the bottom of each letter.  Thank you for who every mentioned it on here it was a great idea!  He said all he wants to do after PIR is to hang out and eat Pizza!

ATTENTION ALL 02/944 FANS - be sure to pay close attention to tomorrow's PIR pictures, you may see your loved one! My SR wrote me that tomorrow is the first graduation they will perform at. Now she is in marching band, but there may be others from 02/944 performing too!
ALL in 02/944 passed and are moving on to A school after PIR on 9/16....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Apparently not... my daughter is in 02/944 and has one last chance today to pass PFA, then do Battle Station tonight??  I got a 30 second call Monday night.  :(
