Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Me too!!!! Have you received any letters lately?
it is getting closer all the time cant wait  but do hope that i was wrong about BS and what dinetap said is right still do not know   no letter today should get one tomorrow  monday was a holiday maby he will tell me in his letter   i will let you know if i here also about their last  test and pfa

I don't know either... my son doesn't write home at all except for that one letter.  When I talked to him on the phone he said he could remember.  He is my go with the flow son.

 

Just wanted to tell you that the email sent to the group is the date.

no no letters yet but monday was holiday so mamybe i'll get one today.... cuz i usually get one every thursday so hopefully everything is still ok and i'll get a letter today.....

but i'll let you know if i hear or read anything new

got 2 letters today  no dates on anything  he seemed to be in good spirits  was mostly worried about inspections in his dress not sure why  a little worried about his run even though he has done it  is looking forward to battle stations one of the rdc is giving as much info as is legal to them he worked in battle stations at one time did not seem to worried about his test thinks he will enjoy firefighting and damage control and anti terroism which is this week i guess they are through all of this by now   they have the capitans cup tomorrow no other info on bs   oh he thinks it is funny some of the guys are getting pictures of girls (he does not have a active girl friend right now) and we are sending him pictures of his dog and her puppies      remember this time next week we will be with them

lol got letters today too.... he seems bored.... was ready to graduate....

can't wait to see him 7 days!!!!!!

I wish someone would tell my son to write.  lol glad you are all get letters....Can't wait to see the results of captains cup.
