Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Thank You for the info! I got my phone call today while I was at work and was able to talk to my son for 15 minutes! Made my day! He sounded great--although he said everyone has been sick off and on- giving it back and forth to each other. He had to have more blood work and chest x-rays done for sub school. I wish I had a list of questions with me- because I was so happy to hear his voice- I forgot a lot of things I wanted to ask him. He did not get in trouble for all of the photos my dad and I sent him--so that was good- I will send more! I am in need of one more ticket as well--I need to write him now and see about finding one!

My SR called today but I missed his call we are on our way to Ohio to visit with family and he called while I was on the plane. I got his message as I was trying to make my next flight, so I kind of fell apart in the terminal. I felt so bad that I wasn't there to get his call. Of course this was the first time my phone has been off since he left for bc on 8/10.

I just found you guys! Phew! Just wanted to chime in and say "hi"! Our son Is in 3/336 and heads to Goose Creek for A school and Nuc School. This is all so exciting! I've been a Navy dependent my whole life, but it surely is different experiencing it with my son. Looking forward to the big day! I'm from Annapolis, MD!

Monterey is gorgeous! What is he doing after A-school that he gets to go to that gorgeous location? Also, what are the details for the meet and greet Thursday night? Do we need to RSVP? I'll try to look through the threads to get more information.

Hi 2websurfers!
My son is 335 and he is going to Monterey for A school as well. Hope to see you at the meet and greet at the Ramada. It's from 6-8, but our flight is later so we won't get there till about 7:30.

He is in the CTI program to be an interpreter. Depends on the language he gets as to where he goes after Monterrey. Time will tell! You need to join the meet and greet group for this PIR date and then put in your RSVP there. If you can't find it just post here and someone will give more detail on how to find it. See you in a few weeks!!

Thank you! I found it - duh! I will RSVP as soon as I find out how many family members are going. Got a letter today; I am so thrilled. Other than having his bottom wisdom teeth taken out he sounds great.
