The contest goes fast! The RTC facebook admin folks post a picture on their wall. Just like you or I upload a picture to our facebook page. It'll be a distorted photo of some recruit activity.(For instance, the last two were: the gas chamber, and marlinspike) In order to guess the activity you have to post it as a comment on the picture. Whoever guesses right first, wins! I think the last winners got it in less than a minute.

Not sure how the holiday will affect this...

Here's the link for the contest rules for Monday:

Anyway, its fun  ; )

Hey all I got a letter from my son today.  He hates "Sharks" and "IT" any ideas what the heck is trying to tell me about?

"IT" is intensive training. which is usually a form of punishment when they do something bad. Not usually him per se, they do it as a division or usually the RCPO has to do it......

"Shark" is an excersie when they have to lay on their stomach and kick their legs up and down and arms up and down as if they were swimming away from sharks.

both are pretty intense....but I know IT is usually only a form of punishment and can be pretty harsh activity according to my hubby.

Hope this helped!

I was corrected on the "Shark" scenario....it is what they reffer to as their RDC's. as in they are the sharks.....and the recruits are little minnows or guppies. They reffer to the RDC's office as the shark tank.

hope this helps. :)

Hi everyone, my SR is not in this PIR group but she in division 947 and will be performing at this PIR. I have a special request....if anyone who is going to PIR happens to get a picture of the drum major (my daughter) for her division, would you please share it with me?????

Would be glad to share. Good thinkin.

Got a letter today. He says he was slated to perform in 2 PIRs. The first is the 16th, but he also will be finishing a root canal on the 14th so not sure. Maybe there are others who will be in it from this division...?? Watch for the pics on the RTC website on those days.
I wanted to give everyone a heads-up who ordered ribbons from me to wear to PIR. I am almost finished with all the ribbons for this PIR group that have been paid for and I am shipping them tomorrow and Tuesday. Please let me know what you think of them when they arrive and thanks for allowing me to make them for you. Let me know if you have any questions at all. I hope you all have a great week and get a really good letter and awesome phone call. :-)
Lala I want to order one: can you resend me info.....sorry :)
Lala - I just joined this group today and apparently missed a lot.  My son PIRs on 9-30 (Ship 02 DIV 946).  It appears you're done with the ribbons???  Is it too late to ask you to make one more :)
welcome nibrocsmom
Thank you.  I've been told several times to get on this page and just didn't...  Apparently my loss.  I found a couple other moms from my son's DIV on FB.  It looks like I should have started here...  15 DAYS!!!
