Hi, lawpup!  Welcome back!!  Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons makes the PIR ribbons. Check out her pics on her N4M profile page or her Unique Memory Makers facebook page.  I don't think it's too late to order yours.  You can email her at uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com for more information.
Thanks Christa, you are right it is not too late to order the ribbons. I am still getting orders every day for your PIR group. It is a great way to recognize other moms from this site besides being a great way to show support for your Sailor and having a keepsake.
PIR ribbons have your sailors name and division on them.. I think im making my own.  I also ordered shirts for the 4 of us to wear.. Hope they're ready in time!
So ladies we have 1 week and half of writing letters then we have to prep for PIR. I have been told to stop writing a week before PIR, So ladies can we decide on a time to light our blue candles for battlestation. I want to make sure we do it at the same time :)
Sounds like a plan, Desiree.  We know that they will start BattleStations in the evening - we just don't know the exact time.  What if we light our candles at 6:00 pm CST?
thats fine so that 7pm my time i est.
Great!  I am EST also.  I live in NC.  LOL...

Its good to be back!  While I love being on vacation, I love being home too!  Besides, I've gotta do laundry and start thinking about packing for PIR!

You're right Desiree - you're an hour ahead of us. Do we know what date BattleStations will take place on?  I'll probably stay up all night and send our SRs as much good juju as I can muster!

As far as ribbons go, I may just make some myself.  I'm fairly crafty that way... And working for a florist has its advantages sometimes.  What color are your ribbons?

I made my own as well mines is navy blue and silver :)
so does everyone agree 6 CST time is good :)
That is great Desiree, Were you able to use one of the anchors I sent you for your candle on your mini ribbon? I thought you might be able to since you can't find anchors in the craft stores very often that will work. Happy to have helped you out. :-)

Sounds like a great idea lawpup.  I'm not a crafty lady...  my ribbon is navy blue with silver writing.

I'll send you a private message with the date of BattleStations.  We are not allowed to post it on N4M.
