My boyfriend left Sep. 1st and I haven't recieved his letter either. It has been so incredibly hard not being able to see him, let alone talk to him :( I miss him more and more everyday that goes by. I thought that it would get easier and that time would fly by, however without that letter I feel like I just am becoming more distant! I need that letter to let me know he is ok, and that he still loves me! I love this group it lets me know that I'm not the only one feeling like this and that there are so many other wooman in the same position as me! If I've already recieved his letter telling us when his graduation is, does anyone know how long until their allowed to send their families and friends letters??

My boyfriend left the same day when do you boyfriend grad?

My boyfriend is suppose to graduate on Oct. 28th :)

My boyfriend left on the 18th of May last year and I didnt get a letter til about a month later. They only get to write sundays. But sometimes they break the rules and write when they go to bed. You should be writing him right now. Write as much and once you get his address send it all to him. It really does help them. The only way you can comfort him and let him know you love him is to shower him with letters.

Thanks for the information... I hope I get a letter soon only a week and a half till a full month has gone by :) Did you go to his graduation?

My boyfriend left on the 1st to i wonder do he graudrate on the 28th too, i havent heard nothing from my boyfriend either in im sad n i didnt get to meet his mom before he left, so idk how i would get in contact with her im just so confuesd more n more everyday...

I don't know what determines their graduation days, but hopefully he graduate soon :) Does he have your address at least that way he CAN write to you and hopefully communicate what's going on? I know how you feel when you say you're sad...my boyfriend and I have been together a year and a half, and  practically lived together before he left. Now I have to fall alseep everynight by my self and come home to nothing :( it's so depressing!

Yeah he has my address, but he hasnt wrote me yet idk what to think or what to do about it im thinking about him all the time 24/7 its very hard...have your boyfriend wrote you yet have you got anything?.
I have gotten nothing except the letter from the captain...it just states their address and when their graduation is, but that's it! :( So no personal letter or anything. I am hoping to get something this week!!!! But that's REALLY good that he has your address, and I'm sure he is missing you just as much as you're missing him!!!! Make sure you are writing letters now that way when you do get his address you'll be able to send him them all at once! :) It's SO SO SO SO hard without my boyfriend being here...I just try to stay busy! I'll let you know when I hear from him! :)
kgermann i'm in the exact same boat you are in.  my guy also graduates Oct. 28th.  he left on the fifth and i need that first letter so so bad.  i know exactly how you feel about falling asleep by yourself and having no one to come home to. we lived together while i was in school and over the last couple months before he left we spent every second we could together.  even though i know my guys loves me and misses me like crazy, it would make me feel so much better if i could just hear his voice or read his words for reassurance that he is ok and still needs me as much as i need him.  from what i've read it is usually between two and three weeks before you receive letters.  they are typically allowed to write their second sunday and post is sent out on monday.  my SR's mom has been getting his box/form letter two days after postmark so i'm thinking sometime this week!! but then again, i don't want to get my hopes up either :/

OMG you said EXACTLY how I feel!!!!! And I want that letter to come so bad it's killing me!!! I miss the sound of his voice and being able to tell him everything that is happening....I feel like half of myself is gone and I at the same time I am so proud of his decision and know that he has wanted this for a long time!! I can not wait untill the 28th...I made a navy and yellow paper chain in our room that counts down the days until I see him again! LOL! I feel like everyone that I'm around has no idea what I'm going through and it's to hard for them to understand. I've written him like 15 letters and haven't gotten 1 lol I want it this WEEK!! lol :)

you sound dead on me. my family and friends just don't get it, i know they're trying but they can't.  i made a giant calendar that takes up the entire wall and we counted down to him leaving and now i have Oct 28th circled in giant red marker and i'm putting giant red x's on the day.  i've been listening to voicemails and surprisingly instead of making me sadder they make me feel better. i've written thirteen letters and i've got two ready to go out tomorrow morning! we should get one this week...let me know as soon as you do! i'll be thinking of you and trust me you are not alone girl!
I'm so happy you understand!!!! It's so funny that you mentioned voicemails, because I have like ten voicemails and videos on my phone of me and him, and I watch them everynight!!!!! You're calendar idea is so cute!!! :) I can't wait not only for my letter to come, but now I'm excited to hear when you get a letter!!!!! Now we can countdown together!!!!! :)
