This is a group so we can get connected with others in our SR's group. I hope to meet new people who are going through this with me.

well they're both only 17..he went off to college and she the service. they share the same birthday 9/22/93 and are two peas in a pod. I hope the best for him...just really nervous about them coming with us...My SR wants him there and of course his mom thinks the world of her.....but he better not think he will get all time with her. she's gonna be all mine :p
I have sent a letter almost everyday..i took off sundays and holidays..hahahaa its our joke! no one in our home never does anything on those days ;)
I would LOVE to meet all of you but unfortunately wont be at the meet and greet. Figures, I live the closest and cant get there. But more importantly, we WILL be at PIR! So if there is some way to find all of you there, then lets do it!
Hi, ladies! I FINALLY got a letter from my SR today! Unfortunately, everything he wrote in the letter he told me about on the phone on Sept. 11. So, I'm afraid I don't have any recent news...
Anybody hear anything recent??? Hope our SRs are working well as a team!
Well you guys have a lot more info then I do. I havent seen a letter in a week.
Wow, gas chamber. I definitely wonder how that went. I heard it makes them throw up. Yuk!
I'm with you, Horselover...I haven't heard anything in over a week either. I know they say that "no news is good news" but I sure hate the wait!
I'm certain that the next time we hear from them, it will be the "I'm a sailor" call! Squeeee!
I got our plane tickets. Robin and I will try to be up there in time for the Meet and Greet. I can't promise anything, but I'm gonna do my best!
The gas chamber sucks. I've heard from several people that it is the very best place to rid yourself of the "recruit crud" that everyone seems to pick up during Basic. If they take huge lungfuls of that stuff while they're in there, it will get rid of it. Good luck to them!
Hi Ladies! i hate to say but Ive gotten 3 letters this past weekend and 1 today..my daughter said she would try yo write back to every letter and I have written ever day except sundays!!
I still havent purchased plane tickets..due to the boyfriend and his mother UGHHH!! we were supposed to drive together but she changed her mind and have more $$ than i would ever know how to spend so for her flying was probably what she wanted anyways..
But on a different note my letter today from my SR said she's got a date when she gets to FL wonder whose son that is with...anyone??
Dont forget to light your blue candle on Thursday =)
i didnt hear anything about the gas chambers... hope that went well!
