Canton Trade Days is a big affair that happens on the last weekend before the first Monday of the month.

It will be the weekend of the 30th thru Oct 2nd..... if you have never been it is a BIG place to wander...there is also an area that they have pets...I don't go to that area because I want to take everything home! lol

Also for you that love fabrics...there are several places to find that too. She who has the most wins! lol

Just a joke left over from my mother...lol

Bring you walking shoes and a little drag cart to hold the things you might buy....there are plenty of food places to get everything you can imagine....parking varies from $3 to $5. If you want it you will probably find it and lots more...lol You might want to bring a bottle of water or you can get it there for $1

We need to plan on what day, time and where to meet so we can all wander around as a group.

Don't know what else to include.....It is a really fun time!

By all means do bring the hubbies....who is gonna carry all the stuff to the car? just jokin :)

i want to come!! i don't think my hubby will be there though.
It sounds like fun! I'm not for sure yet. I know my hubby can't make it. Eaglemom-road trip?? ( if I can get away that weekend) Will we just go for one of the days? That might be easier for me to plan. Well keep me posted.
Saturdays are usually the easiest for everyone to meet. Originally, I would have said that I couldn't be there because my Sailor is graduating on the 30th from A school in Charleston, SC. However, my husband just lost his job on Thursday so I don't know what our situation will be then. Praying that the job that God wants him to have happens by then, or that he starts something after we get back??? Please pray for us! Thanks!  I would really like to come!
I would love to come to Canton!  I couldn't meet until Sat as it is a 7 1/2 hour drive and then I would have to drive back Sunday but I am game.. I WANT to meet everyone.
I do plan to be there.  I might bring my sister who lives in Tyler. I live in Garland, so it takes me an hour and a half to get there. Saturday is ok with me.
Count me in.  We have friends in Rockwall that we are going to see, so my hubby will be with me.

Quiltblue, hope all works out for your hubby.  We'll say an extra prayer for both of you.  Congrat's on your Sailor graduating A School.  Ours finished ATT on Wednesday and Classed up on Friday.  He starts tomorow.  So 15 more weeks for him.

Pray for you and your hubbie... that he find something soon.

I think Saturday is probably the best bet...about what time does everybody want to meet and where...we can meet at the Arbors by the food court and go from there or whereever everybody things best.

Yes that is quite the drive SUES...I grewup in Pampa and have made that drive back to visit my parents when they were there...it is a long drive...also have drove back and forth to Lubbock several times...funny that it is the same distance to either place.
Looks like we might be able to come to Canton. I would rather go see my son, but would really like to meet some more Navy Parents!  Brenda72, you will need to pick a place that we can meet up at!  We are planning on wearing our Navy t-shirts to make it easier to find us!

Ok so Oct 1st is the official day I guess so we can all meet and have a good time. What time does everybody want to meet? We can meet at the arbors by the food court and then go from there. For the ones who have not been before there is a platform type of area that is surrounded by a bunch of eating places.

Let's figure out a time we want to meet.

My husband & I would love to come & meet everyone , Where will we meet? Also what time? Quiltblue - we are praying for you & your husbands job. Congrats on your son 's graduation- I know how proud you must be:)) my son's "A" School was about 2 mos & hie graduated "C"School around the middle of August ". He is presently deployed in Okinawa, Japan. We miss him very much & are hopeful he will be home by Christmas:)
