My son is on 09/338  No letter this week but his Girlfriend got 4 lol , sure just put mom on the back burner . What is family members last name ? I will mention them in my next letter. and my son did tell his Gf it was getting easier.
I'm glad there hell week is over now maybe it'll start getting a little easier on them. When we get the "I'm a Sailor" call is it a real call or another 30 second call any idea?
Got A 3 page letter from my son today .... Im so excited for him, looks like he will get to come home for 2 weeks after 4 weeks of "A" school , He wasnt able to change his Job , but he wont go overseas until 1 yr after his 1st job destination. : ) He mentioned R A P , hes undesignated  so im trying to figure out what R A P actually is ??? any ideas
YES Finally a phone all from my SR 09/337  The perfect way to end a bad week.  So glad to hear from him, he has been really sick so has not been able to call.  Can't wait to see him.
So glad to hear you got a call.... thats how I felt last week when my son called.
Has anyone heard from 338? It's nerve wracking!!
Not this week. No letter since Saturday. I assume they are very busy. My husband said the division was still going through a lot and there was still a lot of trouble going on. =/

Did he say why they have a new RDC? I think it doesnt sound right. They don't change RDC because the recruits are having trouble. And what kind of trouble is going on?

Well my daughter let me read her letter and my son sounded great!
Is he 338? My son sounded good to when I talked to him on the phone 2 weeks ago. He hasn't mentioned any problems.
I'm with you - this is nerve wracking!  I haven't gotten a letter in two weeks, and I know he's sent out letters to his sister and a friend.  I'm working with the no news is good news philosophy, but I still run for the phone and listen for the mailman (okay, it also helps that the dog doesn't like the mail carrier - she's the real radar!).  It's difficult not to be distracted by the thoughts of "I wonder what they're up to" or "I hope they're getting their acts together".  I have to believe they must be very busy.  But I'd really like a call or letter...
I have a feeling we will all probably get maybe one letter this week. These last few weeks will be busy. I'm staying busy so as to not get distracted by worried thoughts. The next call we will get will more than likely be the "I'm a Sailor" call. Look forward to that!
