So the bombshell my SR laid on me was dont worry Mom in 2 years I think I am going in the Marines

Are you friggin kidding me! I was just  worried he would fall off the ship and now this!

WOW Horselover!!!
Well I have 2 years to talk him out of it.
WOW horselover maybe my sailor would be his medic lol :)
Well, Joe will be repairing his aircraft electronics...

Got the call!! so happy for our sailors!!

on a sad note...the a**hole of a boyfriend decided to break up with her during her sailor call to him.. my heart is so broken for her right now..in need of hugs =(

I am so sorry for you sailor. But on the bright side, she can move on and find someone that will appreciate the honor that she received today. :)

I know, but it was supposed to be such a joyous moment and he had to show his true colors...just real sad for her and hoping that 322 will help her get thru this too, atleast until I get to give her a big HUG!!

She's only 18 and I know that there are is someone who might be worthy of her love =)

Meag I am so sorry that your sailor's ex bf messedup the moment by doing that. But you know everything happens for a reason. She needs a strong man by her side not a little boy. Now she can actually find someone who apperciates her love. I wouldn't worry I am pretty sure that 322 is helping through this. They seem to be really close like family.
Meag, WOW what a JERK to do that to her then! At such a happy moment for her. That kid is not worth it!!   I feel so bad for her, but she looks like such a pretty girl, I dont think she will have ANY problems!
So sorry to hear thar MeagmomMel!  What a crappy thing for him to do!!! He is totally not worth your daughter's time or attention!!! I know that she will bounce back from this!  And I'm sure her shipmates will help her through it.  After all, didn't you say that she already has a date once she arrives in Florida?
Yes she did say she had a date..but just cant believe that he so self absorbed.  They were best of friends before the actually started dating and just wish he would have treated her better...I'm sure away at college he's having himself a good time.
