Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Help! DQed from job during bootcamp (medical reasons)...undesignated?

hello ladies! my SR's PIR is 10/28.  i got a letter this past Wednesday from my SR telling me that he had been medically disqualified from his Aircrewman job because he had been treated for ADHD for a few months as a child.  first of all i am annoyed that MEPS did not catch this and allowed him to sign for the job at all. secondly, in his letter he said that he would choose a new job Thursday (this past) and was hoping for SeaBees. he didn't seem concerned about the whole thing and i'm sure i'm stressing for nothing but i have had horror stories about going undesignated and i'm worried that he won't be able to get a new job! i won't know anything until Wednesday when i get my next letter or i get a call...have any of your sons or daughters been reassigned to a new job in bc??

Hello!  My oldest was undesignated for 2 1/2 years.  He was horrified at first but he was the best undesignated Sailor there could be, lol!  He and I've talked about this before.  He says to ignore others....and to make the best of it.  He is now a corpsman. Was leader of his class in corpsman school.  Has received an award.  Make sure you join this group:

How did they know he had been treated for ADHD?  I'm sorry he was disqualified but look at it this way...they usually get separated for stuff like that so he's very lucky.  Hopefully he's still graduating on time.
