Hey ladies, I need some help. I'm having some jealousy issues towards friends of my boyfriend and getting worried everytime a girl says something on his facebook page. I've literally been checking his facebook everyday. His attitude towards me has changed as well, but I'm not sure if it has to do with me or if it's the military attitude. Please give me advice. My stomach is in knots, and I just want to stop acting like the obsessive girfriend. I've never been like this! EVER! Suggestions?

Hello there! Don't worry, you are not an obessed girlfriend. I have talked to a bunch of people who have felt this way, and I have felt like this myself. I think almost everyone goes through this feeling at some point in time when it comes to the military. I felt like he didn't love me anymore and whenever he talked about meeting a girl, he would fall for her instantly. We went through days were we barely talked while he was in A School. But I came to understand and what people told me, is that as long as he tells you he loves you and that he talks to you as much as he can, then there is really nothing to worry about. I don't know who your boyfriend is, or how your relationship was before he left for bc and A school. But, I'm sure it will pass. You need to learn to trust your boyfriend. It will be hard. I wish I could be more help! ):  But like I said, if it bothers you alot, maybe try to talk to him about it.

Oh, and yes, if your change in attitude is sort of like that "I don't give a crap" in a way and cussing alot, then yes, that would probably be the military attitude. Hope I helped some! D:
Thank you, Julie! It's good to know other girls have gone through this!!!
Don't worry! When it comes to the military, you will NEVER be alone! (:
hey, i feel the same way but it was when we were having his going away party and his girl friends would tell him to write him all the time and i felt like i was obsessing about it. just think of it as he has you not them and your way better. if he wanted them he would have never been with you. i know how you feel. if you ever need to talk about this you can inbox me.
Thank you! I saw your story as well. If you have questions about boot camp, let me know! I'll help you out too :]
Omg, I've been the same way lately.!
I don't know if it's because TOM's in town or what but I feel like a crazy person! I've been getting worked up about everything. I want it to just go away! lol
Lol. Yeah every time I see my BF talking to girls I get so jealous. And mad. I guess after all the time he's been away I just want him to myself. My BF dad past away today, so please pray for us. Thank you guys so much for all the love, care, and support. I'm so glad he gets to come home tomorrow, but I really dislike the circumstance.

So sorry to hear that :'[ You all will be in my prayers. But enjoy the time you have with him anyways.

And of course we want the boys to ourselves! I especially don't like hearing about all the navy girls who "get around". That seriously scares me.

God bless you Yasmine!

Thank you. And I know that scares me too. But we just have to be strong, being insecure could drive them away. We have them and we know it. So they better watch it. Lol
Hey, I completely understand where you are coming from. My boyfriend has been in for almost 2 years and he is currently deployed. I didnt go through this until lately. we had some bumps in the road about 9 months ago. and now i feel like im obsessed also. i freak out about all the girls who he adds/add him. or write to him, even the girls who just like his posts. Ive recently decided i cant let it control me, bc it was controlling my moods. If a girl commented on something and it made me feel funny, i would just ask him "he what was so and so talking about" at first he was like "you question me alot" "dont you trust me?" and i simply explained to him that if i dont ask i get so paranoid, so now he is more than willing to just tell me because he doesnt want me to feel like that.
Wow! Deja vu! Haha sounds like we're in the same situation. That's a good idea to say that asking questions prevents you from being paranoid. Thank you so much! :-D
