I do the same thing eat-sleep well nearly shower with the phones..I told Kenny to call my cell phone each time so, I know I will get the call...He called yesterday a whole 10 second phone call had to answer a question....best 10 seconds ever.  Recieved the box yesterday---the lord new I needed to hear his voice.  Still loosing it everyday..i work doubles on the weekends soooooo I am home all week for my kids....well no kids here.  My other 2 are at school everyday and my husband works all day----Kenny was at home with me everyday if he wasn't at work.  we had him quit work about 3 weeks before he left soooo he was home everyday with me...missing him lots!!!  I find my self either at the computer and or in his room all the time....and then crying....i need to stop it...i am fixing to go to work and know that it isn't going to be pretty.  It will prob be good to get my mind off of things....I havenot left the house much.. I did join a gym yesterday and i am going to be a change also when I meet my son again.  I want him to be proud of me as I am of him.....he would be laughing at me and shaking his head right now if he could see me.  This would be alot easier if we could talk to them at least once a week....and we knew when....i set on pins and needles I will prob end up with an ulcer before this is all over.  My son and I were very close I guess i didn't listen to people when they would tell me that....but, I feel it now.  Sorry Im going on and on......good luck.  If you need to talk I am here all the time.....
I jump every time the phone rings and my heart starts racing.  I haven't left my house much either.  My daughter shipped on Thursday and I took yesterday off from work.  Don't know that it was a good idea.  I'm hoping that going back to work on Monday will put my mind elsewhere.  I have a big compliance exam coming up at work in a week so maybe if I focus on getting my ducks in a row for that the days will go by more quickly.  I don't know.  Keep trying to come up with projects at home to keep my mind occupied.  Doesn't matter, my mind is always on Maggie.

I am so glad that this website exists ... my daughter left yesterday ...she flew from San Diego to GL and I also recieved "the call" at about 11:30 (9:30 pm my time) ... I felt so emotional ...and lost it a few times at work today ...and felt like I was being the "over protective " mom... but feel much better now that I saw that my feelings are actually normal and everyone here pretty much feels or have felt the same way that I am... it makes me feel like I am NOT alone ... my oldest son also leaves for GL next month Nov 21st ... so I will have 2 gone .... I hope that I do not fall apart lol!

Have you recieved the letter yet... I recieved the box yesterday but, am waiting on the letter...I have been looking for others on the same ship as him but, have not been able to find anyone.  Any sugestions on how to find someone else on Ship 07 Division 009???
When did he arrive at GL? We have not received the box yet.

My son leaves tomorrow, I know its going to be a sad day for me.  Hopefully the next 8 weeks will fly by.  Know they wont but I also know you have to let your kids travel the road they choose.  Its funny I have 2 older daughters and never worry about them going off to college, getting married, having a baby.  But he is my youngest and its going to be hard
