I know it doesn't help much, but my son is in ship 11 div 001 and div 002 is across the hall as my son has described it. close enough that they can yell at each other. he called today and could talk about 30 min! hope your SR gets the same chance.
Got the box, form letter no phone call yet...
I just recently got a letter. His dad got one a week to two before me. I was worried p. When I got the letter is was datedOct.4th.
I'm trying to learn all I can about graduation & what he'll be able to do. I read he may ave to stay after graduation for up to five hours to register. Since he's staying there. I'm super excited to see him. I mss him a lot.

They are halfway through basic training. I've received several letters from my son and he did get the chance to talk to his mom a week ago. Unfortunately, I missed his phone call.

At this stage I figure we'd be lucky to get anymore letters. The remaining weeks of bootcamp only gets harder and more demands are placed on our SRs to prepare them for the final stage Battle Stations 21.

My son is ship 11, div 1 and no letters from his this week as compared to 3 last week. I like to look at your discussion sometimes too since I guess your SR would be the brother division to mine? What you said made me feel better...about probably being too busy to write.
I'm not sure if Div 001 and 002 are brother divisions but if they are that's cool! Yeah I'm not holding my breath to receive any more letters but then again if we get one then that's awesome! I'm sure that they're stepping it up for the PFAs and everything else. I can only assume no news is good news...
Have you gotten BST dates?
I just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I started sending the ribbon orders out that many of you ordered so if you placed an order for ribbons to wear to PIR to show your support for your soon to be Sailor be watching you mail, it is stalking time lol. Also, I added a great questionnaire to the discussions and you will want to check it out. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the questionnaire. Thanks so much for the ribbon orders. If anyone has any questions at all just send me a friend request or message on this site or an email to uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com  :-) LaLa
Please tell me about the ribbons. I'm very interested.

I do (Ship 11, Div. 002). My son. We're counting the days till we get to see him. We've made our arrangements and he said we'll get to spend most of the day after PIR with him. I've noticed we're not getting as many letters even though he can write a few more days a week and requested stamps about 5 times! I got to speak to him briefly about two weeks ago for about 5 minutes. I just happened to be in Chicago on business and was just an hour away. So wished I could have seen him then.

I'm counting the days too...

I do! My son is in ship 11 Div 002, nice to meet you all.
